The author isn't always the most pleasant to talk to, what with saltily insisting that Keen deliberately sabotages/sabotaged their multiplayer, but they do a good job at ship design, something I can't lay claim to.

Seeing this updated again, hopefully Steam will allow it to frontpage on the mod workshop for newer players/those who never saw it when it was going strong to try; the design effort deserves that much.

I'll check that.

Don't think Sparky-P has enough atmospheric thrusters as it ends up hitting terminal velocity and explodes on impact and not much else.

Not that anyone new will find this, but I have updated the mod with three new Sparkies. Enjoy.

1463250867 is the number of this mod. You can see it in the top of the Steam Browser here.

Potentially stupid question, how exactly do i identify this mod in the folder? Most of them are listed as just a sting of incomprehensable numbers rather than mod names

Make a ship in creative.
Aim at it.
Ctrl+C.
Open the F10 menu.
Export clipboard.
Go into that file.
Change RespawnGrid to Yes.
Save.

Open this mod (*.mod files are just zips).
See how the file structure is and how respawn ships are referenced.
Replace or add your ship in the sbc file.
Save.

Load mod.
Done.

Nice set of spawn ships,By any chance could you link me to an up to date tutorial for how to edit respawn ships? I'd like to set up one of my own but I couldn't find many recent tutorials, the old one i used didn't seem to work, I suspect definitions had changed since it that guide was made

Wishy, I checked the mod, and it works without a hitch, both by itself and in a server environment with dozens of other mods present. Feel free to publish your gameworld on the workshop and link me, I can take a look.

But, I am almost 100% certain this is not an issue on my end.

Blueprints coming soon.

Wishy: I will check why it's not showing up, and I will upload the BPs. Thanks for the report!

Can we maybe get these as blueprints as well? Doesn't seem to be working, as in not showing up in the spawn menu.

Outstanding.

The Miner Sparky now uses an oxygen generator rather than a farm. The Assembler is now properly connected to the cargo system.

a couple of things:

on the mining ship- the hydroponics seem to be overdesigned. I strongly recommend replacing them with a standard air producer, as the hydroponics stick out of the back end like a tail and get destroyed in no time if you are mining tight tunnels. a factory fits into the space nicely, and an L pipe hooks it right into the medium cargo, and the air factory itself hooks the assembler to the array of conveyor blocks. Less muss, less fuss, and a cheaper overall design.

On the eco-ship- Solidly made. the hydroponics pairs well with the solar panels, making it an excellent starter. I especially liked the bottom mounted connector, allowing you to use it as a new base life support system with little difficulty.

Overall, well done shippack. I had fun with them.
