I confirmed (page 2 of comments) that you DO get acheivements while using a mod

Does mods disable achievements?

Great mod! Very useful. Thanks for making this.

I tested all 3 difficulties food costs with no mods and then with my HATE FOOD mod active. Made a new game, default party, went to town and rested until I had no food left, then checked food costs at vendor.

Normal:
http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1248129811
http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1248129025

Veteran:

Hardcore:

It is working properly on higher difficulties for me. With 0 food in inventory the food costs are cheap for all 3 difficulties.

Sorry, but I've done all that I can to lower it as much as possible; I am able to adjust the the exponent modifier but not the base price that is set by the game. I've set it as low as it can go but the base value food cost (for one day of food) on higher difficulties is just higher and the mod tools don't have an option to adjust the base value.

I don't have the game installed anymore, but if I remember right the smalllest exponent you can set is 0.10 which means every additional food you purchase costs (base value)^modifier, I can only set the modifier value. I hope that explains it better than my previous snippy comment at someone ordering me to fix something I cannot :)

Hey huff - this is SUPER appreciated work. Since you've already done the work, though - is there any chance you could make a version for the next difficulty (one up from normal - not ingame, forget what it's called :P )
huffadopolis  [author] 13 Dec, 2017 @ 4:30pm
commenter did not read authors comment on that exact issue, commenter should have read authors comment on that exact issue; random CAPITAL word
Valen 13 Dec, 2017 @ 2:41pm
From what I am reading this mod only works well on NORMAL difficulty. Author needs to fix this.
Bill Shatty 29 May, 2017 @ 10:28pm
I never have enjoyed food requirements in games, or IRL for that matter,
huffadopolis  [author] 27 Nov, 2016 @ 8:51am
Ahh that could explain it; I'm only able to modify the price increase exponent, but not the base price for one day of food.
Dago 27 Nov, 2016 @ 6:08am
Aha, it works exactly as described on normal difficulty :) And on higher difficulties it maybe lowers but doesn't eleminate all food hm problems, dunno =)
huffadopolis  [author] 26 Nov, 2016 @ 10:42pm
Iv'e been playing the game off and on for the last month and nothing has changed about the game or the mod, and my prices match the screenshots above. I just made sure moments ago. Sorry, but it's not the mod!
Dago 26 Nov, 2016 @ 9:53pm
After enabling mob I got all those options to refill food for many days, but price is much much higher.

Thanks m8! :D

For the record in case this helps anyone else save time testing other things: acheivement counters only increment up the first time you kill enemies. i.e. starting a new game even on a harder difficulty, you have to progress further and kill enemies you hadn't killed in the game (on any difficulty setting with any saves/characters) before the counter goes up on your personal steam acheivement page for Lords of Xulima
huffadopolis  [author] 28 Oct, 2016 @ 11:11pm
I was able to test and confirm that with this mod active you DO (yes DO) gain acheivements (and I assume any mod, but you can only use one at a time). I played the game with this mod active and saw the counters on several acheivements on that steam page go up once I killed enemies further along than I had the last time I played.
faber 27 Oct, 2016 @ 3:41pm
Ok, thanks for the answer! :)
huffadopolis  [author] 27 Oct, 2016 @ 1:14pm
As far as I know, I have no control over whether or not a game disables acheivements if you use mods. Sorry!
faber 27 Oct, 2016 @ 1:24am
Have it problems with Steam Achievements? Thanks!
Runus 13 Aug, 2016 @ 5:44am
Does using this mod disable steam achievements?
huffadopolis  [author] 29 Jul, 2016 @ 5:50pm
Sorry I don't know what would be causing that; I tested the mod after the last update I made to it and did not have the issue you are having. I wish I could help but I have no idea.
Ultrus 28 Jul, 2016 @ 11:56pm
When using this mod my HUD is completly gone. I have no other mods activated, OS is WIN 10 64. Any ideas?
huffadopolis  [author] 28 Jul, 2016 @ 9:26pm
Thank you! I'm really glad people are enjoying/have enjoyed using it!
Darks 28 Jul, 2016 @ 5:15pm
Many thanks for this mod. It made the game much more enjoyable :)
steelzepplin 23 Jul, 2016 @ 1:48am
fixed. Thank you.
huffadopolis  [author] 16 Jul, 2016 @ 12:48am
I just did a quick update to make sure all the relevant mod changes were set. I tested on a fresh install and a new game and movement is not costing food. Resting food cost can't be changed still.

Make sure the mod is active (top left of main menu), other than that I can't explain why it's not working for you at this time.
steelzepplin 16 Jul, 2016 @ 12:02am
just this mod, my first mod actually on a fresh install. Restarted steam and pc. Running windows 10 x64. Thanks for the reply ill keep trying but i just have this mod installed/subscribed and nothing more.
huffadopolis  [author] 15 Jul, 2016 @ 4:52pm
Do you maybe have more than one mod active? I think only one can be active at a time, I had issues trying to use my mod, and another person's mod at the same time.
steelzepplin 15 Jul, 2016 @ 11:23am
subscribed, installed, restarted, new game and old does not work, am i missing something, thanks!

LMAO...your response is priceless
huffadopolis  [author] 4 Jan, 2016 @ 4:11pm
Sorry steam user "Ryuk2024" this mod does not give you the ability to add female genitalia to your character. I know you want this badly so maybe you'll have to make your own modification to the game to make your dream come true.

Confirmed just now, I loaded a save game from 1 year ago, 2014, and the food changes from this mod took effect, walked around town without losing any food, and the food vendor was selling it inexpensively
huffadopolis  [author] 18 Nov, 2015 @ 3:12pm
I do not think so, I was testing it on an existing save not a new game, until I got everything food related changed.
Bardo 18 Nov, 2015 @ 7:50am
does this need a new save?
