is there a way to save any tank that has a rotatable turret to objects without the turret or hull missing? Whenever i try that i get the hull or turret by itself instead of the full thing.

Thanks!

If the hull has the "sticky" toggle enabled (which it should have by default) then you don't even have to group them.

Sorry mate, I'm completely new to TT sim and 3D modelling in general. Do you just physically place the turret model onto the hull model in TT sim and then group them?

If you mean that the turret should stay in position when moving the hull, then you have to break the joint and just place the turret on the hull.

How do you get the turret to turn independently?

Yes, I know this problem and this is why the tracks are mistextured. I don't know how to work with UVs yet, so I bite the bullet so to say. It doesn't look that ugly anyways. :P

Hopefully you have been fortunate so far with having the tanks you convert all come from a single texture sheet.. I've had to redo UVs on a couple of World of Tank models so far so they all come from a single texture for Tabletop Simulator!

Thanks, it took me a few hours to create and fix it! With the extra collision mesh it really takes time.

Good job with the conversion.
