If the mod is becoming too time consuming to upkeep, would perhaps importing models from Gmod help make things easier? There was a fella who did this to make a pretty populated modpack of new skins. Gmod probably has nearly every rendition of Spartan armor.

If that does not help, I understand. Modding is very beyond my area of expertise. I'm just very grateful that this mod is still around, as it is very useful for a video series I've been doing.

Awesome, Thank You! By all Means! I would love to see this epic mod go on, and what better way for it to progress than for me to be a part of it! Would you perfer to email me, or is there some way to send the files through Steam? (I'm still not familiar with all of the options for communication on Steam, but I'm better with TUI's than GUI's anyways, which is beneficial in this case.) I would be most grateful for any assistance you could render, and your Name will be recognized FIRST and FOREMOST, as it is - by all means - still your work which I am merely continuing. Eventually, when the work on your House is complete, (Knock on Wood) I would be more than happy to send you the modified files with which you can reclaim the ownership of. Thank you again!

@RobotB9 - If you would like to take them over feel free, I can send you all the assets, including the 3ds max files or FBX files if you use blender. I can also give you a list of all the software I actually used and a basic run down of my process.

Epic Mod, by the way. I'm sorry to see it torn down. If you'd be interested in me continuing it, I'd be honored to accept. I'm just starting out modding Space Engineers, so I'm relatively new at it. I've started on making a Voxel Halo Ring, and some weapons, actually inspired by this mod. I'd give all Credit to you for the Models, but I would also attribute my Halo Weapons to you, as this mod had inspired me to start making them. Just go ahead and message me on Steam if you'd like this mod to "Live On."

I'm going to assume that you don't live in South-Central Alaska, so I wouldn't be much help from up here. But if you did, my family members are big on construction. My Dad is a natural Carpenter, my brother Travis actually has his Carpentry Certification, and I'm working on a full degree in Welding. Long story short, we'd help you with construction, if the conditions permitted it, free of charge. But since they probably don't, we wish you the best of luck, Longevity and Prosperity. @Changeling - I can only put one or two hours a week into any of my side projects. The EVA helmet took me close to 30 hours when I finally got it in game. I am a modeler, not a good animator so I attempted to put the character into the default engineer rig (which is very slow for me). I own my own home and it is in need of repairs, so all my time has been going into it, I will try to pick this up again, but with the difficulty of getting a single character into engine it wont be anytime soon.

Ark, do everyone a favor and add something along the lines of "(Abandoned)" to the name so all users are aware this might not work. Good luck in the future!

I have not updated this in a very long time. I no longer am updating this and currently have no plans to do so. I am fully willing to transfer this over to some one else if they are willing to take over the mod.

When you have the chance, I recommend using the new O2 system. You could make one suit instead of two.

EVA helmet is not working on DX9... also you should think on giving custom stats to the suit... and please make ODST... the Halo 3 version if you can... also make the Halo Wars version of the Marines that version is the better looking of them all...

does anyone else have a issue with the suit burning through hydrogen? im on a moon currently with .25 grav. this goes through maybe 3-4% per second when just hovering. was this intentional?

I am seeing a small issue where the jetpack drinks up way too much hydrogen. I go through several bottles in seconds and just end up falling to my death on earth planets. Is this by design? This is an awesome mod though and thank you for creating it.

did you add the mod to your mods list in world settings? if not, go to your world settings, mods, and add it to the active list on the right. then go to a medbay block and look for it.

Just as a sugestion... you should try making/using the Halo Wars/Halo 2 Aniv version of the Marines armor at least to me those are the best. Also, are you planning on modding the stats of the suits, I've seen Sektan I belive made models with modified stats and that would be awesome for the Spartans...

For characters, is it easiest to start from the stock space engi or just get a character model through the make human tool and build around that? probably the only thing I'd want to use the make human tool for is just the head anyway.

I'm hoping its fully possible, cause I really want to try out this combat armor suit someday. My biggest concern though was the rigging since from what I had heard at times it might have been difficult at best to do in blender. Did you have to make the template model from the ground up or was using the default engineer model a viable choice? What I'd like to do is get one where I can build off of it to make characters more easily.

Right now I'm trying to make my first turrets to use on my assault and command ships, but when I get the time during the summer I hope I can get my ship interior progress going.

@Sgt Forge - Most of the other guys who have been doing character mods have been using blender, I only use max because I own it but I'll be honest it does end up slowing me down a lot.

I was wondering, do you know if by now it might be possible to get the character rigging done through blender without needing something like 3ds max or related high-price software? I've found a really cool armor suit that I'd really like to see in-game but not sure how far it could go in blender. When you made the spartan, did you use the space engineer model base originally as the template?

@Sgt. Forge - I have stopped working on the dx 9 stuff til ksh fixes it, though I am not sure they will, dx11 still works and colors properly. I have had a lot of real life stuff hit me in the face so I havent gotten much time to actually finish the other helmet models, or redo the marines. I did see my mod was being used in a video the other day though!

@MrEvan - You could just send me the link and Ill just download them, dont necessarily need to share a folder or anything I dont think.
