Is it just me or does this not work for the Spotlights when you are controlling them?
EdrickV 4.3.2022 klo 18.57
Can't zoom out as much as you can with regular camera, which makes this useless to me in my current game. Also doesn't work with modded cameras.
luftmann 7.1.2022 klo 15.56
Hi Blind, Camera Isn't clean anymore recently. Was there an update that wrecked it? Thanks.
Valiant Maverick 21.8.2021 klo 13.58
This my favorite camera overlay so far. It's easy to see through and offers some simple cues to let you know you're looking through a camera.

Great mod when working, loved using it when i was running a server
mikesomeone56 29.11.2020 klo 0.26
Cross Hair removed from camera since Nov update.
Afoekon 16.7.2020 klo 15.43
This mod needs all the awards! Because why in the future has camera's gotten worse.
lil Goody 1.7.2020 klo 17.04
any luck on being able to find a script that successfully connects these cameras too LCD display panels?

Thank you Blind_Rifleman ... was hoping

Used to be scripts that could overlay LCD's with camera feeds, but they all seem to be broken now.

Hoping some one would make a mod so the can be cameras is linked to LCD screens
Vaeringjar 13.2.2018 klo 15.42
thanks, I think I prefer this version though, hopefully still works :)
Vaeringjar 12.2.2018 klo 22.43
link?
Blind_Rifleman  [tekijä] 14.6.2017 klo 17.09
I think it still does, but screaming angels put out a newer version that also fixes the turrets. I'm not planning on working on this mod anymore because his is better.
Girthquake 11.6.2017 klo 19.23
Does this one work? Sage's version is broken for me and I hate the vanilla camera. I would check myself but have no access to the game right now...
Blind_Rifleman  [tekijä] 7.10.2016 klo 18.56
I just found your mod, and you have full permission to use my mod's artwork. I admit I have not been working on any mod improvments for a long time, so feel free to use this to improve space engineers.
Screaming Angels 30.9.2016 klo 19.21
Hey Blind_Rifleman, I've built a new camera overlay with targeting crosshairs, but I've built it based on your texture.
I haven't made it public yet. I wanted to get permission, or perhaps add you as contributor. I've friended you.

Hey thanks for replying. Any screen that doesn't have the ugly effect is ok. Crosshair and maybe turret or grid name for a plus...
Blind_Rifleman  [tekijä] 11.6.2016 klo 20.04
To be honest I wasn't planning on it, however I will look into the turret cameras and the horizon markers on my next set of days off. The cameras have a nice frame, but what should turrets have if it does end up that I can edit those? Just a simple crosshair in the center?
dsmarine 11.6.2016 klo 19.47
Is there any plan to include the turret's cameras? they stay ugly
Xarniia 23.5.2016 klo 7.55
Is there a trick to get the horizon working on RCs? (The checkbox is checked! ;) )
Beewee 10.2.2016 klo 12.43
Thanks, I'll give that a try next chance I get. I'll let you know if it helps.
Blind_Rifleman  [tekijä] 8.2.2016 klo 19.47
One thing you can try would be to replace the .dds file located in steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content\Textures\GUI\Screens with the .dds file in my mod directly.

To get the .dds file from my mod, just open the mod (ID# 544032930) in an archive extractor like 7-Zip, and open "Textures/Custom/".

It will have to be renamed to camera_overlay.dds and might need to be replaced every patch, but that will force a solution for you. I suggest backing up the original file just in case something goes wrong.
Beewee 4.2.2016 klo 12.55
So I've installed several camera mods before, hoping to get rid of the ugly grainy overlay that the vanilla camera has, but to no avail. This mod was no different and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I've subscribed to the mod, activated it on my world, tried existing and new cameras on large and small grids, but nothing changes.
Anyone else who is experiencing this issue or can help me out?
kaskoby 29.1.2016 klo 7.58
Thanks
Blind_Rifleman  [tekijä] 28.1.2016 klo 22.52
Just open the mod (ID# 544032930) in an archive extractor like 7-Zip, and open Textures/Custom/. It will contain the .dds file.
kaskoby 28.1.2016 klo 11.07
can i get the camera_overlay dds file?
Drayst 26.1.2016 klo 12.19
Thanks a lot.

Of course I will link your mod.
Blind_Rifleman  [tekijä] 26.1.2016 klo 11.41
Drayst, Yes you may add my mod to yours, all I ask is that you credit me in your mod discription somewhere. Preferably with a link to this page for the curious.
Drayst 25.1.2016 klo 12.43
Would you allow me to use your overlay with my mod: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=606674524 for the centered camera?
Galenmacil 20.1.2016 klo 11.31
"A must have!"
Lensflare 9.1.2016 klo 7.57
nice!
Drayst 19.12.2015 klo 13.58
Will this work for turret controls, too?
Blind_Rifleman  [tekijä] 26.11.2015 klo 4.24
Thanks for the tip! Though it seems to have grown on me how it is, as the ratio between the distance to the edge and the total screen space is the same between horizontal and vertical, and will remain so no matter what resolution it is being viewed at.
Seks 25.11.2015 klo 15.10
justa tip:

if you take the intended view size of 1920x1080 scale it up so 1080 == 2048 then squeeze it all back into 2048, when the game scales it to fit your screen it, it will appear as you intend.
hisui 8.11.2015 klo 20.12
okay thanks
Cmdr. DoomForge™ 8.11.2015 klo 19.47
It works perfectly in DX 11, I can confirm this since I mainly play in that mode.
Blind_Rifleman  [tekijä] 8.11.2015 klo 19.07
It should work fine in DX 11, but to be honest I have not tested it. I run DX 9 at the moment due to playing on a server with old mods. It is just a single overlay texture file. Normally models need to be converted for use with DX 11.
hisui 8.11.2015 klo 10.53
is it DX11?
Cmdr. DoomForge™ 8.11.2015 klo 1.16
This has been my favorite camera overlay since trying it out! Personally I have no idea why Keen decided they wanted it to be full of static in the view for the game's timeline when we get clearer stuff than that right now in modern times.
737✈Garrus 31.10.2015 klo 9.30
Sweet!
