I was about to delete my workshop items as I'll not be updating. If anyone wants to keep this one up, please post.. Otherwise, in the next month or so I'll be removing all workshop items made by me. Hope you were able to enjoy it.. It sure helped me when I couldn't find a simple mod like this.

Note to all: My family and I were in ARK on the server I'm renting in Texas via HostingSource.com (meaning a private server, non-official). My youngest son noticed if you add rifle ammo to my gun, it will work on a private server. Still can't figure out why the drums and trophy mount fail to show. At least you can alternate with mods.. Unfortunately I can't figure it out.. If anyone else can, please let me know. :)

Eternie, I managed to re-cook this one and re-upload it. If you are in game and try it, could you let me know how it is working for you?

I have not had a chance to do the other rifle yet. I need sleep. I'll work on that over the next few days and hopefully they will both be functioning properly. X fingers. Thanks for all of your help.

That was my intention but I fell behind. I began the update the other night, it took 3 hours. I now realize the depth of my responsibility. I agree and you are right.

I'm working on the cooking and updating of both rifles now. I need to keep my mind fresh and current to remember this process better. I do best with practice. ^.^

On a positive note, I got my notifications down to 909. lol

Thanks for really observing the details and letting me know. You wouldn't believe how helpful that is! I added this rifle to the engram list towards the beginning by duplicating another and changing the properties of it. I wondered if I missed something there or if it's just a tad buggy in the mechanics of the modding engine. I can't seem to figure that part out. I recooked it in November and the drums still never showed. I'm missing something..

Original your private life always comes first. This mod is great .. but with all the updates you would need to update your mod regularly as well. So wait till game gets released and is more stable before worrying about it.

It does seem that your rifle is tied to much earlier update For me currently at Level 67 without your mod I have 285 engrams available... whereas with your mod I only have 228 engrams. It seems like all the newer engrams get disabled in making your mod active at the top of the list.
I'm putting this info here so that when you have time, inclination and your modding blood needs a work out. You can look at it.

My fur works :D I tested it in my game because I had to go to a cold area. The drums was the only thing besides the rex wall mount that I cannot seem to find with the gun installed. :(

That stinks. I'll try to recook it. I was going to last time but husband became ready to game. I haven't mentioned much but I"m going through a super hard time in life. It'll be ongoing for a while. I'll try to recook it though.. X fingers. Thanks so much for checking!

Original after getting all engrams working .. (well to the best of my knowledge). At least all fur engrams were back. I played if it and learnt some of the fur engrams. Then added your mod back into the mix, but that did cause the fur engrams to disappear, I'm sorry to say.

So I have a choice fur armor or a spectacular rifle; that can give me fighting chance against alphas :D

I had to move my mod up on the list and did notice the drums won't show. I haven't touched the mod in a bit. I may need to recook it just to be sure.. I've never fully understood this mod. lol Let me know if you figure it out and I'll see what I can do. :)

No problem! I only play SP ... I do love the gun and will be using when ever I can!
I did have an issue of fur engrams not appearing. had steam check cache and reloaded missing files still no Fur Unsubscribed your mod and rechecked the cache files another two files missing reloaded them then Fur emgrams appeared ... So I have fur engrams but no XTS rifle.... so far!!

But I will now be reloading the rifle back. As I'm not convinced that the rifle has anything to do with fur engrams missing. But comments around seem to suggest that mods need to be made for the current version .... which would be ridiculous for all the updates ARK goes through.

Thank you! No, it's such a basic mod and it doesn't seem to work well in MP.. At least I can't figure that out, even on my own server. lol I was much more fluent in modding the sims. :) I'm so glad it's useful for ya! In SP I really like that gun. Especially with all of the floating bats. :) TY for letting me know Eternie :)

It subscribed easily was then in game and appeared and worked flawlessly. It even allowed me to take the fight to an alpha. With the amount of Alpha's around having a great weapon is dam important. So thanks OriginalXTS! I appreciate your mod.

I have good news and bad news: Good news is the gun works great ingame! 1 hit maybe due to being 130% multiplier from leveling up but it's poweful.. Bad news? I can not get the war drums or wall mounts to show when this mod is installed, even after reuploading and recooking it. Not sure why as it's a clean mod. It uses no core files. Good news? War drums and wall mounts are merely a perk. Not necessary to enjoy the game. Unfortunately some of you may prefer the wall mount or drums.. If so, simply unsubscribe. :)

Okay.. Just checking folks. Anyone having any issues after any of the Ark updates? I know this is not a popular mod as it's quite simple and many do not want to "cheat" in the game. That's fine but those who do use it, is it working okay for you?

Ya the tool works well for adding and updating the mods on a server. We use it for few weeks, absolutely easy to change server setup or update config files. Support for multiple admins too.

I've added a link to the description for the server tool as I hear that helps with mods like this and dedicated servers.

Thanks for confirming & the link. I noticed that with other users on a shared server (one I load to share with my friends. What I noticed last night is my gun worked fine as admin but my husband's gun wouldn't fire any damage. Mine was okay so I handed it to my husband. Again it's power was weak for him. Once it changes hands it reduces in power to what seems like nothing. :( May be because of the server type I'm thinking. I may have to learn how to make my own server and edit the settings. I've not looked into it so it's all new to me.

I have to find a fix because my husband dies way too easily lately. (He's still new to the game).
X fingers I figure out a way around it and thank you for confirming the gun issue as I wasn't sure if it was just me! You've been a huge help! Thank you for everything!

I added the mod to our dedicated server today for the first time. So far I was testing on local game only. Teh gun works well on local. But once installed to a dedicated server, you can spawn or craft the gun but the gun does no damage at all!

I hear ya! I'm itching for a lighted rifle (flashlight attachment). At night when you go to shoot, you have to lower your torch to face the death of blackness. If my mount is fighting another, I face possibly killing it (again) instead of the one I'm aiming for. Isn't there one for the head in there? That would work for all scenarios at night and I could enjoy the scope on my rifle instead :)

If you come acrossed anything, would you let me know? I've been looking for weeks and knowing my luck it may be a simple "switch" lol..

It will be even better once you learn how to allow attachments for it. Scoped XTS Rifle would be awesome.

A good tip I've noticed: If you are a long distance from your target, try single hits with the rifle, pausing briefly between shots. Less bounce.

I tested the mod locally and it is fun. I learnt how to disabel the blueprint in game ini files so no need for another mod. Thank you for the offer anyway.

I'd like to add that I have the stairs mod and I have had issues with mods not showing up if the stairs is at the top so I often hit the arrow to clear all mods, readd by selecting my rifle mod THEN selecting the stairs mod. If you have any issues with it not showing, please try that, restarting STEAM by logging out completely and logging back in, and making sure that when you clicked on "Subscribe" that it is checked and showing "Subscribed".

You can easily remove the mod. I've had to remove this and the other to test each. It removes all traces of the item from your game. To Disable the weapon's blueprint so only admin's can use it is possibly (but I am not sure) an option in the file when it's being modded and I do not know if there's another option somewhere else. If you want to mod it to change the one option, I have no issues with you uploading a modded version of this mod to include only admin control.

If you are truly & strongly desiring that & know of no way to mod it yourself, I can look into making a version of this gun with the same stats while only able to be spawned by admin, if that's possible. It's not a subject I've seen before but I am willing to look into it. :)

I would like to try this one on our server but two questions - can I safely remove the mod when needed? And is there a way to disable the blueprint so that only admins can spawn it?
