Awesome map, really matches the style and atmoshpere of Limbo. Altough the ending felt a bit weird with that car's sudden explosion. But I guess you couldn't show the final art without it or something?

First of all .. i didnt played Limbus yet, but the Track is very Atmospheric, creepy but beautiful designed ... It is very challenging but still very flowfull... I liked also the idea with the many Towers and Saws ... Good job there.. One of the best Maps i played so far..

Cool that you think that way. Thats kinda what i had in mind. But my earlier comment was about the Pop up that you mentioned. Just wanted to point out that there are no pop up's in the level that are suposed to be scary :) By the way nice job on your levels. They have a lot creative not mainstreem stuff in it :)

well i've played the game and i understood the references, but i thought the silhouets with eyes were psychologically impressive, especially with the placement how you never look straight at them but know they're there.
Your brain prioritizes faces when looking for patterns and is especially fast to detect eyes and mouths, so scares involving things that look like blank eyes on a head in the dark should be extra effective... at least they were for me!

Thx. What pop up figures do you mean? If its the one that come down from the tree, they are just something thats from Limbo. You have to play the game to understand but it doesnt matter too much.

PPPaul.... that was amazing, your skills and commitment in the editor are over 9000! you've placed those silhouets with eyes at really spooky locations, i was impressed at how they made me feal uneasy, the saws were also kind of scary but the pop up figures didn't get me tbh :P

I was guessing thats what you had to do, which makes maps like this like 100x more impressive, i dont have the attention span to make something like that from simples

There are simple objects like cubes in the decoration folder witch most of the shapes are made of. Also if you want to have a look at it you can open the level in the editor if you move it from the workshop folder to your own. The file name is "limbo" or something like that .

Probably a noob question, but how do you add all those complex shapes? Is there a way to edit meshes in the Level Editor or import from like blender or something? Freakin' amazing map btw

Definetly nailed the limbo look, but you made this map for people who have played limbo. Put the parasite back in, screw the people that haven't played limbo. Life ain't fair.:Khappy:

You sir have just reminded me the biggest reason why I love this game. The part where the track started playing was probably the greatest feeling I had compared to any of the other maps I played. This is an absolutely amazig map you created. You deserve money for this.

I appreciate all the feedback. I will try some finetuning once the competition is over. I'm not sure of what the rules are towards updating after the deadline.

Black and white really benefits your custom objects to be used (texture and color reasons) else it was quite good some track issues or rather more annoying (from placement not by challange) from some too small transition changes and one awfull barrier on the road after it goes ( so you can't see it either by crashing or knowing its there.

Bump difficult up to expert ateast cause the part with the rollers in the tunnel is pretty tough. Also were the trees coming outof the road near the begining intentonal because i hit a few i couldnt see.

Everything is spooky, Loved the transition from forest to abandoned burned city. The deadly posters and the random ending i couldnt even tell was a ending, GREAT JOB!

I must admit i knew that this map was on the hard side because i've put i a lot of tight spaces that you can barly traverse, but it still feels very easy for me :D.

I agree with Backgrounds'. This is absolutely one of the best Distance levels, from a presentation standpoint if nothing else. I'm blown away that you could make this in only a week.

You may wanna notch the difficulty up to Expert or Nightmare, though. This level was hard.
