May I incorporate your mod into my server's mod block pack? It is unlisted, and I'll leave credit to you.
Ruby 25 Oct, 2024 @ 4:11am
does this still work?
sethharpenger 8 Apr, 2024 @ 5:25pm
is this working?
Skid 11 Oct, 2023 @ 5:04pm
I think the mod is broken after the latest update. The tanks switch between stockpiling and not stockpiling
[Ghetto]Two Shoe$ 28 Sep, 2021 @ 1:07pm
This thing is perfect and is exactly what was called for. The volume seems to be just right too, even for vanilla application. Thank you.
DoctorJ 24 Jul, 2021 @ 7:04pm
You could use the medium conveyor junction model for the tank to get the larger port size, tank does not need to be cylindrical.
Ravenbolt  [author] 5 Jan, 2021 @ 1:36pm
@☭►DuchowyWoyowniq◄☭ Done! Updated!
幽靈戰士 4 Jan, 2021 @ 5:02am
Requires update; vanilla tank capacities have been doubled not so long ago
Prellentor 26 Feb, 2020 @ 5:19am
They must add this to game. Seriously this is a bullshit that we don't have more block variety. Great work dude!
Nikolas March 3 May, 2019 @ 4:46am
why am i only seeing this 3.5 year old mod now lol :)
epflederer 24 Apr, 2019 @ 6:06am
Thanks
Ravenbolt  [author] 24 Apr, 2019 @ 2:42am
@epflederer Sure. Go ahead. :)
epflederer 23 Apr, 2019 @ 11:25pm
Do you mind if I use this model in a mod I'm making? You'll get credit of course
Ravenbolt  [author] 10 Mar, 2019 @ 4:32am
@OtisSpunks I tried it just now and it work just fine. :)

You could never put Ice in a tank of any kind. The Ogy/Hydro generator fills it with hydrogengas. The fill level can be monitored in the block info in the controlpanel.
Otis Spunks 10 Mar, 2019 @ 1:01am
Doesn't Seem to be working any longer. I cannot place ice in it nor will a generator fill it.
Ravenbolt  [author] 4 Aug, 2018 @ 1:50pm
@Valkyrie Ice It works fine for me. Not sure why it is buggy for you. Many other mods installed?

@andymcneil204 Indeed it is. A bit of a 40k/Dark Angels player here. :)
Valkyrie Ice 3 Aug, 2018 @ 8:49pm
might be due to latest SE update, but this item is invisible for me when I attempt to place it.
andymcneil204 6 May, 2018 @ 5:15am
is that the raven wing logo from 40k but with a spanner instead of a sword?
Weenor 23 Jun, 2016 @ 5:05pm
Thanks, I love the mod. I'm using it to make a plane that uses a large hydrogen thruster to escape the atmosphere.
Ravenbolt  [author] 18 Jun, 2016 @ 10:06pm
3x3x3
Weenor 18 Jun, 2016 @ 3:39pm
Hey, what is the size of the tank?
Ravenbolt  [author] 20 Mar, 2016 @ 1:07am
@KC Pilot. Thanks! Well, not right now. Don't have the time to do much modding right now. It is a struggle to keep the mods up to date. And I have fallen behind on that one. :(
Engi 16 Mar, 2016 @ 11:54am
Great mod, just what I was looking for. Any idea on the future plans Ideas? Those would finish this mod off.
Re-Bot 5 Mar, 2016 @ 10:50am
thank you this is such a good mod!! I give it an 11 out of 10.
Ravenbolt  [author] 5 Mar, 2016 @ 10:33am
@Re-Bot. I did a quick fix and doubled the capacity to 17280. Hope you enjoy it. :)
Re-Bot 4 Mar, 2016 @ 11:52am
The capacity of vanilla tanks has been dubbed so please update when you can. I can't live without these.
Med288 20 Jan, 2016 @ 1:03pm
Yea but file size is a bit high (i know reduculuse but i'm stingy when it coms to hard drive space.)
Ravenbolt  [author] 20 Jan, 2016 @ 1:02pm
Well, you got the Embershard Dragon Thruster, and Azimuth thrusters. :)
Med288 20 Jan, 2016 @ 12:56pm
Yea.
Ravenbolt  [author] 20 Jan, 2016 @ 12:48pm
@Med288 How do you mean compact? Like a 1x1x1 size thruster?
Med288 19 Jan, 2016 @ 1:32pm
How bout a compact thruster? Now that woud be a nice part to add. : )
Cheetah 13 Nov, 2015 @ 3:44am
About a large conveyor version... Can you merge the large hydrogen thruster model with tank model. I.e. it starts like a thruster, but with tank attached instead of a nozzle. If that would be ugly, something cubical like a medium cargo container, but with pressure indicator and tank-like "stripes" (those from this model going to sideway conveyor ports) would be fine IMHO.
cpt.budder 3 Nov, 2015 @ 5:37pm
cpt.budder Just now
Hey I really liked your recent mod compact utility's welders ect. I was wondering if you could make a block mod where it's like a projector block but if you put in the materials in it starts to build the ship for you depending how much recorces you put in the block but it builds it in order like it you were welding it yourself. This is so you can mass produces ships like miners or in the unlikely event capital ships
andbruu 31 Oct, 2015 @ 4:48am
Just finished a vessel using these for side pods, ending in a large thruster. Used tubes from the side of the last tank, to the side of the thruster, and it looks great. My point: consider NOT doing a version with a large port. This will engage us in creative engineering and add a disadvantages when compared to the vanilla tank. While your tank might have the same capacity ratio, it is easier to fit, and as such as a minor advantages.
You could make one with a bit lower capacity, and two opposing ports for your compact conveyor system (on two opposing sides, not front and back).
Digital_Samurai 29 Oct, 2015 @ 4:42am
Is this going to be in your main pack? Keep up the good work. This tank is spot on storage wise IMHO.
ChozoSR388 27 Oct, 2015 @ 7:47pm
Your math is SPOT ON. Even the size of the tank is only 21.6% of the vanilla tank. Good job on calculating the capacity. I was kind of disappointed that Keen HADN'T released a 3x3x3 tank for small ships. I like the fact that you used the existing model, because, unlike Darth Miomech's (I still like it), there's not much chance of confusing it with a small O2 tank once it's placed.
Dust 25 Oct, 2015 @ 2:33pm
You know, Зимний , it's almost like they where just a work in progress and that they only released them right now because it's the game's anniversary.
Cheetah 24 Oct, 2015 @ 11:45pm
@MrVorgra
I agree. Hydrogen Thrusters are severely underpowered, taking in consideration how much fuel they eat up. The only possible reason that Keens made 'em so puny is that they will be the only available method of propulsion somewhere, I guess planetary atmosphere. Because ions shouldn't work there, as they don't IRL (their thrust is too low to compensate for backwards pressure of air into nozzle, even huge rocket engines suffer from that at some degree, having their -20 seconds of ISP off).

P.S. It seems more feasible to feed hydrogens directly from ice, by having an oxygen generator aboard of your ship.
Vorgra 24 Oct, 2015 @ 11:19pm
Testing has confirmed this tank as a source of hydrogen would be entirely incapable of atmospheric flight, the thruster output of this hydrogen tank is so limited that 4 small ion thrusters emit greater thrust.
andbruu 24 Oct, 2015 @ 4:07pm
Nice. Keep the capacity IMO.
Noscal 24 Oct, 2015 @ 1:16pm
@ Зимний So what is the math behind gas compression, at what point can you go from filled, to pressurized?
Cheetah 24 Oct, 2015 @ 1:13pm
Slap some Gravity Generator Components on the tank, setup them properly, energize them (100-200 kW power usage should be fine), reinforce the tank with more big tubes and now you have an advanced gas compressor which will significantly buff the actual quantity of hydrogen pumped up in the tank.
Naki 24 Oct, 2015 @ 12:05pm
Keep the capacity as is, for realism. Smaller tanks would be nice, though.
Feisty Eliza 24 Oct, 2015 @ 9:48am
Would love to see smaller 1x1x2 tanks for both H2 and O2 on small ships (and maybe a 1x1x2 H2 tank for large ships too). Would make for nice afterburner setups on fighters for quick agility buffs.
Visentinel 23 Oct, 2015 @ 9:55pm
My Hero !
KitsuneKas 23 Oct, 2015 @ 6:11pm
I second the idea of a longer 1x1 tank. 1x1x4 does sound like a good number, though 1x1x3 might be ideal, especially since that would fit alongside your compact conveyor system nicely. (hint hint wink wink)
SEMTEX 23 Oct, 2015 @ 4:13pm
A 1x1x2 or 1x1x4 hydrogen tank for small ships maybe a good idea ?! Or some 1x1x1 Tank Blocks like a modular system maybe. Just a sugesstion. Nice Mod thank you
