i had asked if it was possible to swap the texture before i researched and found out it wasnt easily swapped. so i exported the heightmap from your map and red did it in map editor with as much resources as i could
although i added interstates willy nilly just for the sake of having roads

Thanks for the compliment, I'm glad you like the map so much. Actually I used Euro textures because there already were a number of Boston maps with US textures out there, so this was new. Unfortunately, you can't simply swap textures and resave the file -- you have to rebuild a map from scratch (and this is BIG shortcoming in the map editor) -- so I'm sorry but I'm not going to redo another.
I just opened up the original map file in the editor and all connections are showing as active and unbroken, including the rail connection on the start tile. I'm not sure what is causing the problem with your cargo terminal; did you subscribe to any new transport mods/stations recently? Sounds like you might have a mod conflict causing problems.
@sbrownodowd Looking forward to it, thanks :)
Glad you like the map! As for your question, yes this map will spawn Euro buildings by default, but you can use whatever building set you like on any map (and even in any district) by enabling theme management in the content manager. And of course you can also load custom style collections as well.
Essentially, the only thing that you can't change are the map textures, and that's why I made this a Euro map, because I really, really dislike the emerald-green rock textures used on other maps.
The rail connectons are hard to see on these low-res images as they don't have icons like highways do. They are found on the 2nd and 5th tiles at top, on the 4th tile on the left counting down from the top of the map, and on the center tile on the bottom just to the right of the highway connection.
The start tile (pictured) has one at top center, a bridge heading south.
