The ships are very well designed, congrats. But, from your screenshots, i (maybe it's only me) think we don't see the weapons enough, maybe a little bit darker or brighter colors for the weapons...Because the screens you show are very nice, but it looks like an empty hull to me...Maybe it's only me like i said..But everything else is great !

I have killed 2500p+ ships and I havent unlocked them. the only ships i managed to kill were transport03's ( so it might be a bug with just that particular ship ) ( and I used modded weapons ) so could you help me out?

Void Stitch: Actually, current nuclear plant and advanced military ship (Nimitz class carrier for example) use "steam power": A fission nuclear heater boil water and pressure generated goes through a turbine which generate electric power. Now, the problem with carrying a nuclear powered heater is the risk of an accident. Imagine all cars were carrying highly radioactive material... As for "space craft" and "air craft" the problem is generating thrust by mean of electricity. Small sized space probe use electricity and a gas to generate thrust: Ionic Thrusters. They are not very powerful but are energy efficient. Steam power is not commonly used today because it has been supplanted by simpler and more secure combustion engine.

Really? When I generated a world to test them, after editing regions.lua, I found "Battleship" just near the spawnpoint. Also, there were many 3rd size transport ships.

Amazing concept, and did you know steam power is 26% more fuel efficient than internal combustion? It's because all of the fuel gets consumed withing the combustion chamber, which has a cyclonic vortex effect which achieves greater combustion temperatures. Steam power in space, totally possible, IF you can find the proper fuel. Well they have nanotech plants in space, so I'm sure they have good fuel.
