@Malicious Mender: I tried to put together a mod for this a long time back when I first uploaded it, but there doesn't seem to be a way to replace the 3d models of the existing hats; and I'm not skilled enough to add it as a seperate entity, I don't even know if that's possible.

I'm not 100% comfortable with this hat, but it looks really well made; definitely one of the best submissions on the workshop.

Okay, I've gone through and I've edited the Cockade to look a bit nicer, and I've added an Iron Cross to the Eagle Emblem. I didn't want to redo all the images up there, so I just added one showing off the new Cockade and the added Iron Cross.

@Wilhelm Wulf: If a variant without the chinstrap is made (regardless if it is the Knautschmütze or the Schirmmütze without the wire stiffener), I'd suggest for a look similar to the pictures for that particular variant.

@Tomoffel: The insignia posted on the first link is the bullion version of the cockade and oakleaf wreath. The version used in this model resembles the metal version though. Nice catch on the silver outline, though. The second link is a Knautschmütze (known as the crusher or old style field cap) which was phased out and dropped out of use around 1942. However, it continued to be worn until the end of the war.

The other "crusher" is the Schirmmütze (the officer cap) without the wire stiffener which makes it resemble the Knautschmütze. This unauthorized but popular practice was widespread, particularly within the Panzerwaffe (for use with the headphones). However, it is important to note that they aren't "true crushers".

@Tomoffel: There is no green in the German Cockade, even in the picture you attached, there is no green ring; and if I remember correctly, the Cockade is supposed to have the colors of the flag, which were Black, White, and Red. Though I did miss the silver outline, and I'll add that and the Iron Cross when I get some time, and I'll try to make a variant without a chinstrap.

This is by far the best cap in the workshop! I really hope it's going to be implemented in the game!

Only one small thing:
You got the color scheme of the Kokarde wrong!

As you can see, it's silver outlining, green ring, silver ring and red dot in the middle ;)

There's also an early version of the officer's cap, which doesn't have a chin strap at all

A more acceptable alternative would be an iron cross instead of the swastika.

Strasser is not a Nazi, SpookyDonaldTrump. Not every WW2 soldier was. Read his description, he got disenfranchised in the war and even tried to kill Hans Volter once. Besides, showing Swastikas is considered indecent and universally offensive in modern society across the board and is deemed illegal in Germany.

I really like this hat design though, the first out of three to hit the workshop to universally satisfy my ever-so-picky historian needs. The styles are also varied and fit the uniform styles well.

Since Strasser is a Nazi, add Swastika

@Wilhelm Wulf: That was fast, a job well done! Another suggestion is perhaps adding an iron cross where the swastika would be instead of having it blank.

Very nice work! Got my vote just off the quality... And like Vionix said, make sure you use the proper cap (Can't have an enlisted man with an officers cap~)

@Vionix: Thanks for the suggestion, I did put together a variant with a leather chinstrap. I always like having more options.

Yay! a hat that doesnt look like utter crap like the other 2 attempts.

Very nice. The only little "suggestion" I would have is on the chin strap. Since Anton is an enlisted man (based on his uniform), the hat would have a leather strap instead of the silver bullion strap.
