Ok so i have 2 constructors one can be told to cancel the other refuses to bring up the option and the station is fully completed. Mod was enabled after both stations were started and finished.

since the architects can be reassigned with 4.30 i suggest you hire a random architect.. replace the archi on the CV you want to repack and re-install the previous archi once the recycle and destroy repack is finished.

to gain the same functions like this mod HAD i also suggest to use either SRD & Station Engineers or SRD & my Regular Cloth Mod.

As much as I would love for this mod to work with the current version I am afraid I must use the station recycle mod to detach my CV from a station. I hate using it because every time I do it changes the the architect.

Had a Taladi architect after it detached I had a women with a Taladi name, which I thought was kinda funny but I want to keep my architect the same.
so please fix this great mod.

Would be nice if this mod gets updated. Since 4.30 the CV is missing the repack command. Means: No way to repack the CV.

@aradapilot My comment about selling it was a bit premature as I never got to try and sell it. Maybe you can get rid of it by editing your save game file and deleting it from there, but that may cause problems with the game. I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

You mention to sell the plot CV - but after repacking, I can't sell it, or destroy it (it stops taking damage at 25% hull). It remains flagged as an essential plot ship, even after the plot is complete. Any way to get rid of it?

i found some issues when i downloaded aswell. just keep trying to unsubscribe and subscribe until you realize it downloaded anything to the workshop. Then it's ready to go.

Last time I tested it was a while back, but it worked on 4.0 with both DLCs. Perhaps another MOD that modified the architect interferes with this one?

Well, this was a while back, so I don't know if the Station Engineers mod changed, but maybe you don't need it. Have you tried to disable it? See if it works better without it? Maybe the problem is not because of that mod.

i have the same issue as DaveDee but i use the original Station Engineers mod. it seems like the engineer repair up to 1-3 percent of station part and then stops for some reason. it's really weird

Well, you could also try the mod in the link above, in the description. It's the original mod that alows you to asign engineers to stations. See if that work better. Also, you could try to repair your stations with your CV and hope that next time it works properly. Another option is to disable the other mods. If any of them modifies the engineer or other generic NPC scripts it might create problems.

If this issues persists I would sugest you repair the station with the CV, and maybe try my other mod, Denied Space Initiative. This will allow you to build laser destroyers which are very good at patrol and station defense. One or two of these ships should be able to protect your stations very effectivley against any type of raiders or small attack groups.

well, i have tried every combination with/without drones, assigning other engies, removing CV, manager etc etc. I just don't understand the reason, cause now another my station is stuck at 99% and there is no modules with danger areas.
My game is heavy modded, maybe something is conflicting with engie. But i don't see which of mods may interrupt it, nothing deals with stations.

Maybe there is an issue with repair drones. I never used that many on a station. Try removing the engineer and assign him again. TRy removing some drones and see what happens. You could also upload a save to a cloud service (or somewhere) and give me a link to check it.

perfect conditions, 5 stars engie, lot of repair drones, several modules with less than half hp and no enemies. Still no progress for several hours.
I have made some investigation and find that there are lot of repair drones losses in this zone every 5-10 minutes. Station is using them at 100% (40 out of 40)
Think they are just got intantly destroyed by flame from working metal refineries o_O

How many stars has he in engineering? I think the maximum percentage of repairs depends on the number of stars. A 5 star engineer should be able to fix the station to 100%.

Yes and you can also detach from partially constructed or upgraded stations if the CV is not building modules.

Yes, you can equip Construction URVs on stations and engineers don't use resources.

You say this mod is based on the one you link from the Nexus? Does that mean that you can equip stations with Construction URVs using this mod as well? And that the Engineers don't use Resources?

For now I won't do any other modifications, except for bug fixing, but I'll keep this in mind and probably look it up at some point. I'll then try to see what I need to patch to make it sellable. Thanks for the info on this and I hope you can have fun even with the thing dangling from the station there :D

I've reached the end of the plot as well as fully built the station, so I suppose it just can't be sold. Maybe it can be modded to be sellable. Thanks for your time.

It's possible that the plot CV can't be sold. When I tried it I couldn't sell it either, but I had the feeling it's because the plot hasn't been advanced enough. I had the same issue with the rahanas freighter you get at the beginning at the game. You can only sell it after you advance the plot up to a certain point.

There are two other ways to get rid of it. One is to just blow it up. The other is to modify the savegame xml and remove it from there. (Make a backup first if you do this)

I found the problem and fixed it. The architect should behave from now on and respond properly to new build requests.
Unfortunately this does not fix already broken architects, so you should replace them. Sorry for this.

Replacing architects in vanilla games works fine. There is a problem however if you have the Capital Ship Bridge mod installed, as this one allows you to call the architect back to the Skunk. If you do that you won't be able to assign it back to the CV and you must replace it with another architect. In the vanilla game you cannot recall architects from CVs, and it looks like this operation is not supported. You can still assign a new architect to a CV if you made this mistake and after that the CV behaves normally.

Got the same bug as Kaalund with this mod. The architects of repacked CVs don't work. Fixed it by transfering them to the Skunk and then firing them, hiring new architects afterwards.

If I attempt to reassign the old architects to their CVs after the Skunk transfer (instead of firing them) their transfer pods will not move back to the ship and the pods will show as not owned by me. Could the old architects still be assigned to their old stations/old state of their CVs or something, causing these problems?

I've had issues like these with crew before. You ALWAYS seem to have to transfer them to the Skunk before firing them or replacing them when this happens, or you'll end up with duplicate crew spots like Kaalund mentioned. Last time that happened to me I had to save edit the broken crew member out of existence, because it could not be removed in-game. :P

In my case this might be caused by some kind of conflict with the CWIR mod.
