i found that modsettings file, but it seems that file is for hl2 (not l4d2).............and then again error code 8..........

i might have found a piece of info... dont know if it well help.. but someone says it comes from the steamworks api. idk if it applies to L4D2 though but its worth a check. http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/137750/documentation-about-error-code-of-the-launch-pad-when-uploading-a-mod

my files allmost size 7 or 8 mb, this problem is frustrating me, everyday the same T___T

Most of what im seeing on file upload errors are Error Code 16... :/ Some people are having problems uploading due to file size, but i doubt thats your problem...
