Thanks for the feedback! I put up a second map recently which is a bit more polished in some of the areas you mentoned, and overall, called Groovy Street.

Not a bad first attempt...certainly it's better than mine was back in the day! I'd just suggest a few things to think about going forward (because I found honest critique invaluable back in the day). Shading is important, and will help you set tone (and set your maps apart from the rest of the pack). Also, be aware of your ratios, as some of your doors seem pretty large. You also might want to increase the size of your wall sprites, as the "baseboard" is not lining up properly (it's a bit below midpoint on the wall). In your explosive walls, try to add some jagged archetecure instead of making them square. As long as the angles wouldn't leave any gaps when closed, they'll look fine. Lastly, just watch your pacing. You started out great, then went a bit mob-crazy toward the end! XD

Things I really liked: the different colored mobs, and the surprise boss-that-wasn't. :) I also enjoyed triggering all the "Dukisms," and you had a variety of mob configurations and locations that kept things interesting. Not everyone thinks to do that!

Congratulation on your first map! The editor is a lot of fun and you will learn all kinds of special effects. Check out some of the maps here. The map I created *Dukeington* contains several effects and ideas for design. Check it out ;)

Btw, if it says you found 3 of 4 secrets, that's all of them. A goof, there's one secret so secret even I don't know where it is.
