I remember a story about a guy who found one of those economy breaking glitched and got an unusual of his choice he chose a ghastlyer gibus with an effect I forgot. I bet he'd cry a bit if this got added.

I really love the idea of this effect. It's a silly little idea that I think is perfect. As for the effect, I feel like the gibus should be a bit smaller than the actual hat, just so you can still see the real hat when its circling.

It seems that when you are standing really close to the effect, it gives off some weird illusion that makes it look like it isnt orbiting the head. This also happens with orbiting hearts and orbiting peace signs. At a slight distance, the illusion goes away.

The gibus sprite seems pretty weird, reason is what the others said, i feel like this might be something with the vmt settings, i've had this same issue while making custom sprites back then but somehow made it properly render with some changes, i guesss you can try looking at other sprites' vmt settings in vpks and test them on out on your gibus' vmt
