p.s i havent tryed this mod yet. ive subed to all of then tho. ill let you know what i think!
I plan on making my mods compatible with Event and Decisions one day. I just haven't got ideas for events and decisions for my mods yet.
Did you try deleting the Civ5ModsDatabase in the cache folder? If that doesn't work, go to Steam Workshop Downloader [steamworkshopdownloader.com]and place this page's url and click download.

That idea sound pretty cool. Although if I chose that ability, I might change +1 Science from Ocean tiles to the usual +1 Science from pastures.
What if it was:
Lone Star Science
+1 Science from Ocean tiles. +2 Science from Atolls, and +4 Science for every worked Ocean resource. Receive a Tech Boost every time a Melee unit kills an enemy in your territory.
