One of the best european maps i've ever seen! Good job!
mweerman36 22 Jul, 2022 @ 7:13am
Klasse zu spielen! Sieht von der Küstenlinie her wirklich etwas wie Cuxhaven aus.
BorgonOfTheSnows 8 Jul, 2022 @ 8:52am
one of my first maps, I love this one very much.
ivan 3 Jan, 2020 @ 9:02am
Great map but what is the map theme called?
Chadramar 31 Mar, 2019 @ 8:28am
Looks like a lovely map, any theme recommendations to go with it to make the sand/beach look as good as in the screenshots?
YRKSHIRE 3 Nov, 2018 @ 10:18am

@Tallahassee Vielen Dank! War unter anderem auch die Inspiration.

@[GER] TheNeocore Thank you! That's nice to hear, especially from someone who is actually living in the area! :D:
TheNeocore 18 Feb, 2017 @ 9:18am
spwn.Bugfix This is the greatest Map I was able to play with since the first minute of Cities Skylines. I live in Wilhelmshaven and this is exactly the kind of style as this map. Keep doing and thanks mate!
ZanderTheMander 18 Jul, 2016 @ 7:20pm
@BAREL you can change the maps previously set european style with the mod, Environment changer. It will give you the option to change the map theme.
PSI PSI PSIIIIIIIIII 20 Jun, 2016 @ 6:36am
Can i change europen style to american style ?
jkmilwaukee 20 Feb, 2016 @ 8:16pm
Would love to see a Snowfall winter version of this map. That way you can play both summer and winter versions of city.
Bugfix  [author] 21 Dec, 2015 @ 11:18am
@MrMiyagi I'm having a few ideas for a winter themed boreal map actually, but nothing solid yet. Maybe next early year! :D: And happy holidays to you, too!
MrMiyagi 21 Dec, 2015 @ 11:14am
Now I expect to see more maps from you! XD Kidding, but of course it wouuld be really nice. Have a great holiday und guten Rutsch
Bugfix  [author] 21 Dec, 2015 @ 11:07am
@MrMiyagi Wow, thank you! :D: I'm really happy to hear such positive feedback!
MrMiyagi 20 Dec, 2015 @ 3:01pm
Hey spwn.Bugfix, I just keep raving about this map! It's the one I point anyone looking for a flat map to. Obviously, my maps don't really work for the flatlanders :D Anyhow, just wanted to pop back in and remind you that this is my number one, and by the way your decorative sand dunes get all the credit for inspiring me to start decorating my maps with naturalized areas. Thank you, Sensei!
Bugfix  [author] 3 Dec, 2015 @ 7:21am
@urbano Thanks, glad you like the map! Non-European ist not going to happen, though. But give this mod a try to change the building style!
urbano 2 Dec, 2015 @ 10:09pm
Awesome map!!! It would be great to see this map again but non European perhaps?
Bugfix  [author] 2 Dec, 2015 @ 11:40am
@EDDY77 Thank you! I must admin, when making that map I didn't have huge cities in mind and therefore haven't tested it. Maybe you should try this mod to manually add more train connections to your city!
EDDY77 2 Dec, 2015 @ 6:57am
Very nice map! I really like it and also the European theme is fine. But I have one con and that is train tracks, sadly you have only use 2 of 4 train connections and actually my city is attacking 200k popullation. So the tracks are full of mostly empty trains and cargo is stucked :( Anyway the map is gorgeus, details are amazing :)
Bugfix  [author] 1 Oct, 2015 @ 1:40pm
@Gorgeous George™ Yeah, a friend already pointed this out to me, but even I haven't noticed while I played on the map. I'm really sorry about that, but at least it's inside the buildable area so it's relatively easy to fix.
Vleerhond 1 Oct, 2015 @ 4:59am
Great map!

Took me a while though to figure out a traffic issue that my (starting) city was experiencing, but i've found that one of the exits of the interchange has a faulty piece of ramp! It concerns a stretch below the bridges. One-Way Street Arrows helped me a lot to identify.
Ghost9447 25 Sep, 2015 @ 2:00pm
Hey Bugfix you did a really good job there :D. I really love your map. Look at my City :D http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=524412397
Bugfix  [author] 23 Sep, 2015 @ 11:52am
@megarandom I assume with "changed buildings" you mean the European theme. This is actually a biome like Boreal or Tropical, you can't change that. But you could try the Building Themes mod to change the building styles.
megarandom 22 Sep, 2015 @ 10:53pm
hello, nice map, but i dont like changed buildings, how can i change them to default?
impulse46 5 Sep, 2015 @ 7:54am
Vielen Dank für diese wundervolle Map und Deine Zeit dafür! Great Job!!
Jey 1 Sep, 2015 @ 11:50am
Thanks! Very best map. Good job! It's my favorite map:3
WindWolf 28 Aug, 2015 @ 12:36am
@spwn.Bugfix Yeah, I totally forgot about that
Anyway,I think it is a really great map

thm27 27 Aug, 2015 @ 9:54am
Die Map ist zwar von Cuxhaven inspiriert, aber Ähnlichkeiten mit der Wesermündung Bremerhaven/Nordenham sind nicht von der Hand zu weisen. Jedenfalls wirklich eine sehr gut gelungene Map. Danke sehr.
MrMiyagi 27 Aug, 2015 @ 7:30am
Hey spwn.Bugfix, I'm adding this to my collection of "World Traveler Maps". It started just as a list of my maps, but there are some really exceptional people making amazing maps with what I like: a real sense you're in a specific location. I'm adding this masterpiece of yours, hope that's okay. Now, we wantz moar maps! XD
Bugfix  [author] 26 Aug, 2015 @ 9:32am
@WindWolf As I said, I edited it a bit anyway and converted it to PNG while doing it. I can't re-upload it because it's not mine. But you can convert it yourself using a simple image editor like Paint.
WindWolf 26 Aug, 2015 @ 9:07am
the sand texture you are linking to is in jpg not png
Bugfix  [author] 24 Aug, 2015 @ 11:13am
@kz Hm, that's weird. Haven't had any problems like this and it seems like no one else has this issue. Are you sure all your mods are working correctly?

@Kolorado I linked it in the description now!
Darnok 24 Aug, 2015 @ 3:40am
Hey Bugfix, can you link that sand texture you used?
kzz 23 Aug, 2015 @ 7:42am
I started my city on this map, but the cars are not comming. The buildings are being constructed, but there are no cars coming through the highway. :(
enfo 23 Aug, 2015 @ 2:15am
This is my favorite map by far. Great starting area for beginners. Nice river for wind power. This map has it all.
Deichsturm 22 Aug, 2015 @ 11:52am
Samsara 22 Aug, 2015 @ 4:16am
that map is a piece of art! :)
Bugfix  [author] 22 Aug, 2015 @ 2:48am
@eaz001 Thank you! Actually, the dunes were bigger originally. I (heavy-heartedly) made them smaller so they don't take up too much building space. I mean, it's a city builder after all. :D:

@Jorundr Thank you, I'm glad you like it!
Jorundr 22 Aug, 2015 @ 2:42am
Just coming back to say how much I love all the little details, the little hills, dykes and ponds are amazing, also the tree placement really makes it look and feel realistic. You've made a winner here!
ez1 21 Aug, 2015 @ 1:11pm
This is really beautiful, and beautifully crafted. The dunes are wonderful and could even have been more extensive.

Thank you for posting it, and I can't wait to give it a go.
