As ChopMaster has said at least 3 times now and as is said in the description, only 2 chapters are complete so far, it's not a bug that Sebastian waits outside Markarth and the quest won't advance, it's because there isn't any more quest to advance at the moment, have some patience and use your eyes in future before just commenting "waah shit mod that don't work hurr durr".

Stuck on Evading the Thalmor. I met up with Sebastian outside Markorth and fought the mercanaries that show up and even waited several in game days, but neither the quest log nor Sebastians dialog will update.

@Castiel: You should be okay -- I'd always advise having a follower with you, and Sebastian doesn't take up the single follower slot.

@SurienRain1031: You can use a pickaxe to mine the blockade, and then escape the tunnel. I made sure to spawn an extra one in there, so you should be good.

Hi I'm loving the mod so far but I seem to be stuck in nchuand zel with the quest defend against hermaeus moras defenses. I defeated everything I could but I cannot escape and sebastian keeps running towards the blockade but won't talk to me at all

@Chieftan Lucas : Hey, glad you like the story thus far! Correct, when you finish Voices From The Abyss, that's it for now. Sebastian has that option to wait outside of Markarth just so players have a place to safely drop him off / pick him up if they want him along for other adventures. Either way, he does NOT take up a follower slot.

Loving the mod so far, great job. Butat the start of Evade the thalmor the quest just stops and wont advance. any ideas as to why? I have read the part above that only chapters 1 and 2 are compleate is that refering to each quest as they are compleated?

@harry01.miles : Heya! Nope, you're all done -- you should be able to check your journal and see that Voices from the Abyss is done. The option to let Sebastian wait outside Markarth was added because some folks didn't want him to necessarily follow them around perpetually; he does NOT take up a follower slot if you DO choose to let him follow you, BTW.

@ChopMasterOnion Thank you! i played in original skyrim, and loved the mod (I think i've even commented earlier in this comment section about it), but now I am running Skyrim SE, as there are certain mods and updates for it that i really like, and was just missing a few mods from original, so i'm asking all the authors of my favorite mods to please put them there, so far, you are one of the few who responded, so thanks! i hope to enjoy the mod again on SE soon, along with the rest of the mod to be added hopefully soon.

Yes, still working on it.
Yes, will be released for SSE.
You can always give it a spin, and then ask Sebastian to just wait outside of Markarth while you do other things. He can optionally be told to follow as well, he doesn't take up a follower slot.

@^Merlin: As per the Quest Log and previous comments here, that's just the end of Chapter 2 (there's no new Quest that starts). The whole "camp outside of Markarth" thing was just a "holding point" where you can drop off Sebastian if you don't want him tagging along all the time (though he does not take up a follower slot).

@Lurgax: If you've finished Voices from the Abyss (the Quest shows it's complete), then congrats! You've finished the two chapters thus far. The whole "Sebastian waits outside of Markarth" thing was put in there at the request of players that wanted an option to leave Sebastian at a static spot while they went off adventuring elsewhere.

@charles.patterson1: Glad you liked the fights! :) Weird, the main dungeon Nchuand-Zel doesn't have any elevators / lifts -- just some ramps and staircases that lead from Markarth UnderStone Keep down into the ruin. Perhaps you have another mod which alters Nchuand-Zel which added in an elevator / lift?

I think I am missing a key. to open the gate to the lift. I started a new toon. The fights were great, but I think I was a little under leveled qan had not accomplished enough to get the key to the lift. If the lift isn't the way out. Then I was just too blind or not clever enought to find the way out.

The Quest should start with you running into Sebastian and an inquisitor in Markarth's Shrine of Talos.

I am hoping I didn't jump into this too soon. I started the questline and killed all the Mora in the excavationsite. The only other 'out' I have found is the loicked gate inside the ruins. The problem is, I don't have that key. I picked the key from Sabastian, but that isn't the correct one. Did I start this quest too soon?

@ChopMasterOnion: sorry ive never modded before I was hoping that was a thing though as a full up mod. it seems like a very interesting thing though I wonder why developers of the game never come up with theses ideas and leave some parts unfinished or cut from the game

@TheSugarGodFather: That's a separate mod, and it's a *framework* / tool kit for other modders, not a collection of Factions. The only Faction that comes bundled is a Forsworn group in Deepwood Vale, mainly for demonstration purposes.

Do you mod at all? Would you want to try to build your own Organic Faction using the Creation Kit?

I just realized a way out, unfortunately, i had another quest mod which teleported me somewhere as soon as i reached a certain level (which happened because of the spiders) so now i'm out of the excavation site, but the quest didn't update, is there a console command that will allow me to complete the "escape the mine" section of the quest and advance to the next part? and before you ask, I don't know what quest mod it is, seeing as i have over a hundred mods, quite a few of which are quest mods, on skyrim, so I can't uninstall the one that did it and reload back unfotunately. thank you. P.S. I really enjoy what I've seen so far, looking forward to continuing through the mod alot, it reminds me of the older elder scrolls: oblivion quests.

@IGCrazyMe: Hey, thanks for the feedback! I appreciate the heads up, I'll look into tweaking the spider spawners to perhaps reduce quantity, but up their stats to balance things out.

FYI, if you have any kind of AOE spells or staves (Fireball, Ice Storm, etc.), or you use an AOE Shout (Fire Breath, Frost Breath, etc.), it'll wipe out the spiders very quickly.

I'll look into ways of slimming down that dialogue -- I wanted to put some complex twists in there, but I don't want to leave the player "hanging" too long.
