would be great if you enable an option to enable structure invulnerability when no tribe members are online/connected, so no more PvO (player versus offline) at any time!!
maybe a cooldown like 15minutes since the last tribe member has logged off.
Would be great and will eliminate all offline raidings no matter what time it is!!

No, right now, we're just switching Structure Damage Resistance to 0, it makes building unbreakable :) .

That's why we can't do any proper check yet, checking a building AFTER it took damage is sketchy (like you say), and not reliable :)

So, if i understand correctly, to keep a building from taking any damages, you don't make it immune to it, you give its lost HP back ? You "repair" it instantly ? If that's so, it looks sketchy. Can't you just tell to the game that every structure of a tribe gets immune to damage ? Like metal structures are immune to dino damage ? I'm confused.

@Aenema : Those are good ideas ! Sadly, without a global Damage Event, it would be pretty heavy to check on damages, since we would have to edit every structures for damage check, and they're is two issues with that :
1 - It wouldn't affect pre-build structure on the map when the mod is loaded.
2 - The Damage Event is fired when the Damage is made, so if you blow up a wood wall in one shot, the mod wouldn't be able to follow in time and repair/save the building.

The "Pre-Damage Event" (Global or not) I asked about to Drake could allow that easily, but it's not in game yet, or I didn't found it with the other on ARK Modding IRC :D

Since I got you Drake ! Do you know if you plan on adding a global Pre-Damage Event in some ways in the Dev Kit ? Or some form of config files for our mod ? :)

@Insaneety : It would be pretty easy ! I can either do it for you, or you can download the Dev Kit and I can share the sources with you, as you wan't :)

Hi Pymous. Interesting stuff you've achieved. I post a suggestion a while ago to the creator of the Base Protection mod to get a No-PvO mod but he said he couldn't at the time : https://ark.bar/topic/26/base-raiding-protection-is-great-but-what-about-a-absolute-no-pvo-plugin

@Knivez : It's not yet possible as far as we know, we're looking for a global damage event, but without it, we would have to edit every structures in the game to do something :D

hi i run a half and half server my server is split in the middle north and south north is pve but until i can get them protection not everyone will follow the rules ... is there anyway of making the north all the way to the 50 lat line protected at all times with this mod like after you step out of the 50 lat line ur not protected but when you step in the 50 lat line north you cannot be killed or raided ..... (atleast not raided)?

when broadcast announcement and configuration is available, im realy interested in this mod. Because Lumpis Version brings the Server to lag.

@OopsFirstBlood : It wouldn't be that hard, but it's not timezone related anymore, this we use the "Now" node of UE4, so it should get the time of your actual server. Unfortunately, I'm still looking a way to get some config files for a mod, but for now nobody has found a way (or at least, I don't know one). I will keep this mod updated with infos when I get some ;)

@Zonen : Sorry, but for now, I don't think this is possible easily.

How hard would it be to edit this to do it at a different time?and if possible only certain days of the week similar to the other mod? For some reason I can't get the other one to work so I'm using the structure modifiers in the INI ATM.

Heres what I'd like to see in this mod if possible:

Zonen configured raid protection. What I mean is I'd like to be able to set specific coords that are raid protected at all times. So if I want to create a trading town, or something of that sort, noone can pvp in this area, and none of the sections can be destroyed.

The latest version use the actual time of the machine who run the server ! No more UTC jumping o/

v0.1 is considered stable for his purpose. More in the changelog.

Hitom, that is true, it's a great plugin - but that plugin uses server-side dll injection to work, and doesn't work on linux servers. This mod accomplishes the same goal entirely in-game.
