@Zannder It's because Castle Black is not a city-state in this TSL, It's a civilisation, ASOIAF Night's Watch

All the GOT civs spawn in the proper place, but there is something wrong with the city-states. For example, castle black was not a city state, but a civ from the base game, Isabella of spain. Is anyone else having this problem? Help would be greatly appreciated.

i got it to work in the end, thanks, i hadnt unpacked it from the file as is clearly explained in the description - idiot sometimes - map is great, wondering if you will introduce new civs with an essos expansion, also if you will a tech block mod - to block the higher tier techs that are not true to the theme. I would very much appreciate an official tech blockade mod made by you compatible with your series of mods.

I am unable to find the scenario or map anywheres in my computer files so I am unable to play on the true starting locations. Ive read all of the "tips" none of the folders/routes suggested seem to exist in my directory. Any other ideas ? Thanks

i still dont understand how to play the scenario. it doesnt show up anywhere, except when i load a normal game with the map, in which i just end up playing one of the normal civs. none of the houses i got from here are anywhere to be found.

Thanks! Let me know if it happens to you too. It could be on my end but I have no idea how, I did edit the map but all I only played around with map size and resource/city placement. And only within World Builder.

the 22nd civ/CS is able to see all the resources and units on the map, as well as have met all the leaders. So its not just fog of war

hey! I have a question
Why is it so you can only add 2 CSs/Civs to this map before it's unplayable? CS/Civ number 22 has full vision over the map at the start of the game, for whatever reason. It's like the map only supports 21 civs/cs. I was wondering if you know how to fix it ; - ;

@The Quiet Wolf: I'm not experiencing this problem. Are you using any other mods that may cause conflicts? Try deleting the mod files and resubscribing, you may have damaged files.

Also, Craster's Keep isn't quite a city-state, and it's too close to Castle Black. They've already got Mole's Town on one side, I don't want to sandwich them between two city-states.

The city states in the map now come up as normal ones such as Tyre and Monaco and get like txt_moles_town for their name to click on above the city any idea how to fix? PS will Craster's Keep eventually be added to the map?

@바닐라 라떼: The positioning of resources (pre-industrial era resources at least) is decently accurate. If you want to make civs more powerful, I'd just increase the quantity of strategic resource tiles and maybe pack in some more luxuries.

If i wanted to edit this map a little in SDK to make it more lively and make the starting locations more overpowered and more true to the book/show, what changes would you recommend based on your experience with it and the way you designed the civs?
I was also thinking about expanding it a little and adding Dothraki. It would be for my personal use only!

I can't seem to get True Start to work correctly. No matter what civ I pick I end up somewhere random. Also, the other civs are a mix of the game's own civs and the ASIOIAF ones; for example greyjoys and moroccans.

Lots of promise with this mod, I like what I see (muskets aside). Take a look at how Framedarchitecture handled tech and improvements in a fantasy mod, works very well.

@IIMatteo Im currently trying to get these mods to work on multiplayer. from what ive read it should be possable. i just trydoing the braavos civ but it didnt work. do you have any tips or tricks to make the coding easier or make it so i dont hvae to do any?

Cheers will that re-formatted one allow multiplayer by any chance and I know there a mods for certain tech locks but GoT borders renaissance era with banking and maybe astronomy and I havent found a tech lock mod for that side of it.

@SAS: There are mods that can lock techs after certain eras. I'll eventually release a scenario map with a re-formatted tech tree.

Is there a way to lock out science after a certain lvl of tech, as it's amusing to bash up Kings landing with battleships and missile boats and all, but is there something Im missing in order to play at the ASOIAF lore's tech level?

@Rum Monkey: Are you selecting the "enable scenario" option? If it is selected and it isn't working, I'm not sure what it'd be. I'd just recomend deleting the files and redownloading.

@Imwonderbread: Right now Eddard is the Northern leader for the map, but I'll release a separate version eventually with Robb.

Having an issue where they aren't spawning in their true start location. I have tried moving the contents to the \Maps and into the \CivV\Assets\Maps\ and still can't get them to start in their true location. Any suggestions?

It's still not there. I've occasionally had this problem with other mods, and seen other people have it, and I don't think I've ever seen it truly solved. The solution always ends up being to work around the issue by downloading the mod through Civfanatics or something.

I think the spawn for the Nights Watch is a bit hard as you cant make farms on tundra, there is very litle strategic resources and and there is no forseeable way to even stay afloat as a civilisation with the Nights Watch spawn I understand that thats how it was in the lore but I feel maybe the spawn is a bit too harsh on them to play as.

Do not, however, make other changes to the map. I literally added marble near The Eyrie, and barbarians disappeared. I do not understand computers.

After the last update, this mod disappeared from my mod list/MODS folder. I unsubscribed and resubscribed, but it's not downloading through the game. Have you made it available elsewhere?

@cammason8: You enabled the scenario, right? If you don't have all the civs downloaded, then they'll just be replaced by random civs from the base game.

Why do when I play this scenario, I have other random Civs? Is it because I didn't include ALL the civs you said like both Stark civs?

@[DC]Inferius: It's an odd limitation with maps. I have to choose a "default" setting for the map, but it seems like the default setting is locked in no matter what.

@marinebiologyexploration and @TheYoungWolf: See this earlier comment: "Go to where your mods are kept (Normally something like Documents\My Games\Sid Meiers Civilazation V\MODS) and find the folder for this mod. Copy the contents and go to the \Maps folder and paste them. The map should show up on your map list now."

Awesome mods! Just started using them, and am having a lot of fun. As someone else noted a while back, I also ran into an issue with cavalry continuing to provide an 'upgrade' option (and taking 5 gold for it, if you're in a city and click the upgrade star icon), even though there's nothing to upgrade to, yet. Odd. I should note, though, that this happened in a game in which I was only using the ASOIAF civs, and the ASOIAF wonder pack, but had *not* yet activated this ASOIAF map. So I'm guessing it's an issue with one of those mods?

@KimJongIllest420: Go to setup game, select the map, and there should be an option below the map now that says "load scenario." Check the box and it'll put everything in the right place.

@IlMatteo Perhaps I just don't understand how mods work but upon clicking mods, and single player I can't find the load scenario button to ensure all the civs are in the right place.
