A bonk varnished that isn't flat hyper saturated colours. No idea how valve themself failed in the colours department. Nice stuff! Would've been cool to make the secondary texture look like the unpainted parts of a soda can.

Alright so here are the textures. I literally can't be assed with replacing specific weapons so I will tell you how to do it.

Download this and place the textures in the filepath specified inside the /tf/ directory.

1) Use the program to open up tf2_textures_dir.vpk

2) All patterns are located in materials/patterns/

3) Find the texture that corresponds to the pattern you want to replace by opening them up using VTFEdit

4) Rename the textures I provided to that texture.

Here are a few examples
- to mod the Backcountry Blaster replace solid_green-grey_textured.vtf
- to mod a Current Event replace powerhouse_electric_purple.vtf

Have fun!

@Toten, not really. There is no official word on it, but I figured it would be nice to get the ball rolling preemptively. I am assuming that at some point there will be a system like CS:GO if they plan on doing user generated skins.
