Several people (including myself) experienced soundtracks that are supposed to replace the menu music don't so so anymore since one of the last hotfix patches.

So you don't do anything wrong but just encounter one of the remaining bugs.
The only thing you can do about it is to post the bug in the patch discussions so the devs don't oversee it.

Ingame it still works like expected though.

Hey Ozhara, thank you for the dedication, adding content to the workshop surely helps to keep alive the game.

I dowloaded this soundtrack (first time I dowloaded one of your mods), and AoE 2 default music plays in the menus. How do this work? Is this supposed to replace original music? I'm doing something wrong perhaps? Do I need to do something else than hitting subscribe and veryfing that the mod is not deactivated in the AoE menus?

Cheers!

Different from before 4.0, mods aren't extracted to your game folder anymore.

They stay in steams download folder instead (from where they were copied to the game folder before 4.0).

The folder is:
T:\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\[game (steams game id)]\[mod (the mods number from the url)]

So for this mod it is:
T:\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\221380\488588961

Then go to resources\_common\sound
(With 4.0 the file structure got changed too, it's all in resoures (and mostly \_common) now.)

I was officially asked to put it down. :(

So I won't upload it again.

I'm sure people have already asked you this, but could you add the LotR soundtrack as well? Would be great! :)

maybe i'm not the one to get a messure, the game's default music plays too high for me. But on the same volume where this soundtrack seems high (minumum as i said), the default makes for a great company (i f* love it). Either way, thanks for your dedication! I already have your signature all over the game. Keep up the great work!
Ozhara  [author] 27 Jul, 2015 @ 10:21pm
The volume should be a combination of your ingame setting and your pcs setting.
So as a workaround you can lower your pcs volume - this of course means all other ingame volumes have to be raised.

I'll take a look at the files and try to lower the volume.

I love the witcher 3 soundtrack. Is flawless. But i thing the volume is WAY, WAY too high. Please correct me if i'm doing something wrong, as I'll love to have this ingame. I play with the "music volume" on minimum, and it's still annoying high.
