I can confirm that it does work, just make sure you use multiple conveyors to reeach the limit of the refinery intake.

No longer works. (might instant refine, didn't manage to test that). Conveyor system is indeed broken (doesn't work at all), as mentioned in previous comments.

Tested for someone to see if this still works. Seems that it does for any who may be interested. :)

to honor this type of mod I've made one for the starter block, basic assembler and refinery.

author seems long gone......
the mod does work fine raw ores placed inside will be instantly refined but it breaks conveyor systems connecting and from it.

as far as cons go that isn't really as bad when compared to the time you save.

I am tempted to add this to my server, but how is the energy usage balanced with the instant processing times?

These mods save the poor server processors doing all those game logic calculations over long time periods. leaving them free to user their processing power for other uses. also vastly reducing the need for people to have many refineries all doing even more calculations. so its a win on all fronts. Keeps the servers funning fast and the game running smooth for all. :)
