Just to be sure, you're running the game from the legacy branch as outlined in the description, right?

If that's not helping, check that the file at this location: `{Steam installation path}\steamapps\common\The Talos Principle\Temp\SteamWorkshop\ContentPath_257510.txt`
Contains this line: "${Steam installation path}/steamapps/workshop/content/257510"

If that still doesn't help, here's a rather drastic option you could take:
- Navigate to this folder: `{Steam installation path}\steamapps\workshop\content\257510\484930087`
- You'll find a .bin file here. Copy it to: `{Steam installation folder}\steamapps\common\The Talos Principle\Content\Talos`
- Rename the file to give it the ".gro" extension instead of ".bin".
- Now you can start the game in the moddable mode and the campaign should appear.

I'm not sure if this is the most efficient means to do it, but at the very least the second option should work.

I have no idea why none of your content will not play on Talos P. I have tried everything to my knowledge. Have any suggestions?

The term is likely "geosynchronous" rather than "geocentric".. which is how the TV/communications satellites orbit.. in one massive "ring"

Needless to say I figured it out after playing a bit farther. I really liked this mod. Good use of extra colors, unique environments, good level of difficulty on the puzzles, and none of the recording was 4d chess bullshit. Never did find the QR code for the last star, I eventually looked it up. Nice work!

What is the key in Warehouse for? I combed the whole level and never saw it. Had me convinced that the star is there. The only thing I think I could be missing is some pocket only accessible from the top of the walls, but I can't seem to get up there. Am I missing something?

Fun, challenging puzzles, and great colors. It really made me feel like I was in outer space. I especially liked the pipe walking star. I like it when puzzle collections have a mission and a theme behind them. Well Done!

Had a lot of fun puzzles. Well made and very enjoyable. Just really wish for a different aesthetic, I got headaches from the bright colours.

Sound is your only clue. Since you don't have that as your disposal, you should take a walk on top of the ship, specifically near the support beams.

Turned the setting to Low instead of Lowest and things turned out fine. Question, though, as someone who has to play muted, are there any hints for the red star? I've looked everywhere I can think to and I don't see how to manage things without seeing the telltale random scraps flying in a general direction or hearing it (which I can't).

@ReusedNPCv2 It has nothing to do with DLC, lol. The fix is to set your GPU speed from Lowest to atleast Low (options -> performance). This isn't a very graphically demanding map, anyway.

Having a bit of a weird issue with this mod. I can load in fine, but apart from some purple, everything's just white. Looking through the comments, it seems like this is caused by not having a necessary DLC? Is that still an issue or has that been fixed and something else is causing it?

I've tried timing it differently each time but still manage to fall off. I appreciate the feedback though. My timing ability probably sucks since I'm 72 now.

@blue9244 It's just the way the talos physics engine works. You need to time it so you bump into the cube not directly above the middle platform

I absolutely love this map but I'm having a terrible time in Vehicular Activity (?) trying to time getting the sygil correctly and I end up falling off the "world" and having to begin anew. Is there a secret here that I'm missing? I know this is late but I discovered The Talos Principle late as well.

Thanks for the tip - this map is sufficiently old now that I don't really see a reason to go back to it anymore, and I never really got into Source modding so I wouldn't have thought of doing that. :P

As for the stars:
For ExtraVehicular Activity: There's a hidden switch hidden in a quite unconventional spot that will unlock the star.
For Docking Bay: Once you figure out where the hidden fan goes to, it should be straight forward to figure out where to go next. After all, once you go up, there's only a single way to continue going forward.

Also if you're thinking of giving out hints for the stars, I already guessed that there's a star hiding in Extravehicular Activity (I scanned everywhere and could not find a visible star) and there's a star in Docking Bay (I noticed the hidden fan too) , but I'll need a little more than that.

If you're thinking of using music from Portal 2, it's not the best idea to drag it out from the OST. If you get a program like GCFScape, you can dig out the music files and use those (they'll loop better, for one :P). You might even be able to make certain pieces of music play in certain areas of the map.

Excellent set of puzzles :theta: Still seeking out two stars n the red and green areas; managed to find the other three.

Great map! The only thing that annoyed me just a bit was having to remove and replace a puzzle piece whenever I wanted to go through the door again. Thanks for putting so much effort into this!

Seems good but the Yellow Sigil puzzle...I can't figure it out, won't lie I even tried an online puzzle solving thing and it told me there's no solution XD help?

I un-subscribed all of my workshop items, opened the game and let it restart, closed, re-subscribed to just the additional laser colors and this puzzle, opened the game and let it restart, and it seemed to fix the problem.

In green ExtraVehicular Activity, something appears to be wrong with the fans. I found the box, but there are two buttons. It looks like I am supposed to remove a fan and put it on the second button for the other fan ... except I can't remove either of the fans. When I get close to either fan and put the cursor on it, it doesn't highlight and display the usual text to detach it.

The chamber works on my pc, but it is all in pure white. Some shards of the puzzle have a slight attached color on them but aren't like fully painted.

I finally got to play through it. These were some great puzzles. Nothing overly obtuse. The recorder puzzles were even good. It was nice to actually be able to solve them pretty much on my own. Interesting setting, too. Great successor to Simplicity!

Some nitpicks: The colors are very intense, even with normal saturation. I think the red rooms gave me a minor headache. In a couple puzzles, it's very easy to accidentally exit the puzzle while backing up to position something. This is especially irritating when using the recorder. In Ring of Fire, it can be difficult to jump onto the platform where the jammer is and the final platform to block the laser. I think it would help if these were lowered a bit. Aso, most of the stars lack any real puzzle solving, so they feel kind of arbitrary. If they're just there as a fun afterthought, I can understand that. That said, this was a great map!

@chris This is a known bug: You need to increase your GPU performance in the performance settings. Sorry about that. It's not like this map is too graphically demanding anyway. :P

I'm playing on a Mac and the colours are nearly all white. You can;t see the othre rooms at all. You can't even see the sigils to orient them on the board. I've tried changing the colours to no avail.

Were you ever subscribed to Meaning of 42? 'Cause the creator of that map deleted it from the workshop, causing the enumerating to break. Go to your subscribed items, look for it and unsub.

Thanks for your feedback!

You can actually block the beam yourself and use the jammer to jam both turrets (you essentially have two because you're using the Recorder) on the other side. As for your second point, you should be able to walk onto the plasma wall and easily connect the red reciever with the other connector.

I think the "(TransError)" bug is caused if you didn't start the game in moddable mode.

Incredible work! Thanks a lot for making this map pack. I liked all the puzzles but there were some minor details that were a bit annoying (maybe I didn't solve them correctly though): In the room with the five guns, I would have provided a little more space for the Jammer that blocks the beam. And in the room with the three energy receivers positioning the energy rod to get the cube out of the sealed cubicle felt sort of tedious.

Also, after stopping and continuing the game all puzzle titles just read "(TransError)". Maybe that needs fixing, maybe the error was on my side?

Anyway, I had a lot of fun solving the puzzles!!!

PS: Thanks for that platforming lesson ... I think it took me about 50 tries to reach that star ;)

Ok, Mauritsio, thanks you and no problem! I just don't remember how it was implemented in Talos, but i think already opened doors are were kept opened there. Anyway - this is no problem to drag and drop 1 sigil:) Thank you for your amazing work!
