So popular...my friends list has only increased recently because of you guys :P I'm pretty much flatlining at 50 IRL friends, family members, and you ┐(´～｀)┌

Plus, higher levels means you can have more Steam friends. In fact, this is starting to make me want to raise my Steam level--after all, I'm nearly at 200 friends.
