JK. Just use free form and it will look better. I have no clue why freeform is called freeform, because the curves are a LOT more uniform than the other curve setting.
Here I fixed most of your traffic ( My computer got slow (so many wind turbines XD) so now I leave it all to you. What I noticed was that your zones were too segregated (mix them up so people walk more) and your exits/entrances to your city had too many traffic lights making it slow and painful process. Plus your main 6 lane roads were chopped up into too many little pieces so i reduced that. *Side note* Make sure too use Traffic++ (mod) because i used bus lanes (AI beind stupid again :P). Enjoy ^^
