Ruv it, great tribute man! The Nitronic part especially had me wishing it would never end, that's how pretty it was. Never touched an N64, so can't really appreciate the rest of it, but this track is sheer masterclass.

Would love to see more of this, but only the first player can get through the first portal :/

Go ahead. :3 Thank you!

Can I re-favorite this track? Because the first NR section is SO SWEET now. :D

I know the host you were playing with and he told me you enjoyed the level. Thanks!

got to play this on multi today with someone else hosting
got a quizzical expression on my face at first thinking "is this not the first track from extreme g?"
spent the rest of the track with my eyes bugged out recognizing the other tracks
saw the clever track name
high fives all around

I have corrected the music issue. Thanks for giving me tips. :)
Skirmisher 1 Aug, 2015 @ 9:52pm
Ah, I see. It works now, thank you! But I realized another issue: the GravityTriggers you have also change the music. Just check the DisableMusicTrigger box on each object, and you'll be good to go. Someone might make a skip with that first GravityTrigger exposed like that, though...
Phimeek  [author] 1 Aug, 2015 @ 6:37pm
I think I have fixed the music issue. However, I'm deaf so I cannot really do anything about the music. If somehow the bug's still there, please let me know right away. Thanks!

Is the virus-ball music change intentional? A nice way you could avoid that is to change the level music to the wind sound, then copy the MusicTrigger object from Broken Symmetry and place it around the virus spirit's exit teleporter. Then you get Continuum for everything except the beginning of the level. ^_^

I knew it! An awesome homage to Extreme-G this is. Loved this game and Distance strong resembles it. However, there is a bug when you play this with more players. Only the first player gets through this monstrous thing at the beginning. The others can't then.

Do you mean the Extreme-G desert section? Those mountains were used with virus meats because with an ridiclously high scale, it look like a rock.
Enai Siaion 20 Jul, 2015 @ 11:47am
What are those mountains?

I can tell you put a huge amount of effort into this. Especialy in the red city part. Some parts made me feel like i was playing SmashnDrive for the gamecube. Anyways this is probably one of my favorite levels, and ive played alot of levels lol. Great job!

Yes, I worked hard on the Extreme-G bits. When my vacation came up, I knew I had to hurry up and release it. Glad to see you are all enjoying this. :)
Visceral 17 Jul, 2015 @ 11:20am
Absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed every bit of this level. Nice and long, too. You must have spent ages on this.
Phimeek  [author] 17 Jul, 2015 @ 6:02am
Thank you for the feedback! And it's not intentional. The reason I named this level "Throwback" is because in Super Mario Galaxy 2, there's a planet called Throwback Galaxy which takes you back to Whomp Fortress. :)
Jelleh95 16 Jul, 2015 @ 10:50pm
I played the track. It is fantastic. I didn't play enough Nitronic Rush to be familiar with the NR parts, but the Extreme G parts DEFINITELY brought me to nostalgiagasm. If possible, some more of the classic Extreme G maps would be awesome. Peace! :D
Jelleh95 16 Jul, 2015 @ 10:28pm
Interesting how you named this track "Throwback", considering Throwback Entertainment bought the Extreme G franchise from Acclaim when Accliam filed for bankruptcy. Not sure if intentional or coincidence.

Also, I think Throwback Entertainment should sell Extreme G to the developers of Distance. Just saying. A stylized, current-gen Extreme G game would be combat-racing platinum.
Phimeek  [author] 16 Jul, 2015 @ 3:48am
That's because I used the Virus Meats to make rocks because it's the only object currently available in the level editor that can do that.
Alex Chosen 16 Jul, 2015 @ 2:36am
one thing i have to bring up is the rocks from the extreme g bitsreally terified me. i thought something was going to jumpscare me due to the rocks looking like organs and guts ;m;
