HaddockW 5 Sep, 2018 @ 8:11pm
This mod is amazing needs a little work but amazing armors would be a great idea.. good job
Bagetakaj lol 21 Jan, 2018 @ 8:33am
This is amazing mod Thanks a lot. But it would be nice if all vanilla weapons and armors would be reforged.
UnderseaPanic 31 May, 2016 @ 6:25am
Is there some way you could also do this with all vanilla armors? I've noticed that you can reforge armors up to banded Iron armor.
AngryImmigrant 30 Apr, 2016 @ 3:46am
can someone tell me how this works because the material lab thing isnt showing up for me
A Harmless Kitten 9 Apr, 2016 @ 3:49pm
Why doesn't this work on longbows?
revdart 30 Jan, 2016 @ 11:00pm
and agian I would like to see this and the amor reforge mod made into one and if possible added to a smithing mod like the one I metioned before and maybe even up it from just +5 to maybe +10 these are my only suggettion that I personaly would like to see done
revdart 30 Jan, 2016 @ 10:56pm
@[APX]sneakydragon I fixed it by putting it at a higher position in my data line up above other similar mods
sean_kimmel 8 Dec, 2015 @ 2:38pm
can you use this in conjuncture with other mods...say using it with an SAO weapons mod?
Sethowitz 7 Dec, 2015 @ 6:01pm
can you forge a weapon already reforged with another reforged weapon?
[APX]sneakydragon 20 Nov, 2015 @ 6:26am
@revdart how did you fix it? I'm having same problem, only iron reforging when I have daedric and dragonbone perks and weapons
Toe Jerry 24 Oct, 2015 @ 9:08am
Does this add to the smithing level?
revdart 7 Oct, 2015 @ 1:42pm
I got it to work now and since you ask for improvement sugestions here's one for you. What I want to request for an improvement is a single mod that allows you to reforge weapons and armor up to +5 in any catagorie of smithing. Just so long as you have the required 2 identical items and the correct smithing skill to do so not just weapons or armor as 2 seprate mods. Also if capable maybe add this to a smithing mod like El_Tres's ultimate smithing mod or one similar.
revdart 4 Oct, 2015 @ 7:04pm
strange I use it and even when I have identical items it only allows me to use it on the iron catagories. huh well maybe its a bug from the enteraction of the other mods I am using then, well then since all the mods I use I have put in one collection maybe omnibruce could take a look at the other mods in the collection I put out as my favorite mods that I use and see if thats where the problem lays
Adent 48 7 Osard 4 Oct, 2015 @ 2:48am
@revdart i had a +5 daedric bow that 1 shotted nearly every enemy i dont understand
Omnibruce  [author] 4 Oct, 2015 @ 2:35am
@revdart it does support all base vanilla weapons, not just iron?
revdart 3 Oct, 2015 @ 2:20pm
I would sugest just one thing and that is that you take this mod as is and just make it able to affect all types of weapon catagories not just the iron weapon catagory other then that I think this is a great mod
ZephyrWolf_ 23 Sep, 2015 @ 6:04am
I havent used it yet, but just a thought as it may help, what about unique items such as dragonbane, you cant reforge that since there is only one...
CptBongWeed 19 Sep, 2015 @ 10:15am
doesnt work for me. :( looked like a good mod
Xalveris 16 Sep, 2015 @ 3:26pm
Really fun mod, it would be awesome if you add a support expansion / pack for Counterfeit Craftsman (http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=482068886)

Really awesome! but insanely overpowered, would reccomend playing 1-2 difficulty lvl's above what you do w/o mods so if you play adept, instead play Expert or Master.
evidence of OP-ness: iron dagger +5 (the cap) 15 one-handed & no skills: 23 DAMAGE!!! granted you need 32 daggers to make it but that is BASE DAMAGE thats like a daedric GS in a dagger you can even get a +5 as low as smithing 18 (16 if you get a skill slower) and thats only b/c crafting 63 daggers raises the skill up that much
Great for smithing-centric builds, to goof around, or in the development of a god complex but kinda* boring for those who like a challenge.

*very
Bic Pentameter 25 Jul, 2015 @ 12:48pm
soz but i dosnt work... will you be remaking it on steam? (ctrl h dosnt work on my pc)
AzuraxFox 24 Jul, 2015 @ 5:16pm
this mod would be awesome with dark souls mods don't you think plus the +3 reminds me of dark souls when you upgrade the weapons
Bic Pentameter 24 Jul, 2015 @ 9:58am
thnx again
Bic Pentameter 23 Jul, 2015 @ 11:00pm
oh idea; can you include armour in this eventually Daedric+5 armour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bic Pentameter 23 Jul, 2015 @ 10:58pm
this is really usful; i had a iron greatsword and it looked really cool with fire enchant so i spammed made them (lot of money) got a plus five one enchanted it and voila
khizaq 23 Jul, 2015 @ 11:12am
Thanks for the response, I am actually playing with quite a lot of mods, so after posting that I went ahead and uninstalled a few that I wasn't really using. Since then I haven't had hardly any problems, so it was probably one of the others. Crisis averted ;D
Omnibruce  [author] 23 Jul, 2015 @ 2:19am
Hey thanks for trying the mod. As of yet I havn't had a report of this mod clashing with any other mods or causing people to crash. This is mainly because all the mod does it create a duplicate of the previous weapon but with its own unique ID but adds none into the game world so shouldn't affect anything in the world. If you PM me with more details about how it happens I will try to help fix whatever is causing this for you, and I am sorry that the mod isn't running smoothly for you :(
khizaq 22 Jul, 2015 @ 6:03am
This mod is epic! Seriously one of the best quality of life improvements I've seen yet for the guy trying to make his own sword :D Unfortunately, I think it might also be causing my game to crash occasionally when I hit someone with a spell or attack. I haven't tested it super thoroughly because I don't want to lose my spiffy reforged weapon to do it, but do y'all know of any situations or interactions that go poorly for this mod?
Rat Kebab 21 Jul, 2015 @ 12:52pm
Oh ok thanks! I see it now (:
Omnibruce  [author] 21 Jul, 2015 @ 10:10am
The item should be in the tab you'd expect to see it. E.g. A steel sword will be under the steel tab of the forge and under iron for an iron sword. You MUST also have 2 identical items in your inventory for the + variant to appear on the list. (Did this to reduce menu clutter)

Hope this helped! :)
Rat Kebab 20 Jul, 2015 @ 4:13pm
I dont see the Relevant Material's tab but i can spawn weapons in that are reforged. any way I can fix that?
Jlane409 20 Jul, 2015 @ 3:37pm
ok, thats not so bad. this will be a nice addition once fully completed. i will definitly keep a watch on it.
Omnibruce  [author] 20 Jul, 2015 @ 7:28am
Thanks all for using the mod and I'm glad it's proving useful :) In response to Jlane409's questions, at the moment items can be reforged up to +5 but in the future I plan to go higher. And effectively each upgrade is 1.5x stronger than its predecessor with a few exceptions for balancing reasons. So by the time you have used 40 iron daggers you will have one +5 pretty solid dagger :D Hope this helped ^

can't wait for the next update, this small mod, is super useful. plus, it allows higher levels to keep their weapons, like elven or steel, even iron, this allows us who focus on magic to still have a not bad weapon. keep up the good work man, i can;t wait to travel skyrim looking olike the real dragonborn soon without being underpowered all the time.
Jlane409 18 Jul, 2015 @ 10:17pm
nice idea, but a few questions.

1. how high does it go?+1,+3, +5? does it have an end?
2. how much stronger is each upgrade?
Omnibruce  [author] 18 Jul, 2015 @ 10:37am
I think at the moment reforging grants the same xp as the base item each time u craft a + level. I plan to change this later to increase the xp gained with each + level and even add a seperate skill tree.
asmcint 17 Jul, 2015 @ 5:36pm
Will reforging add smithing experience?
Omnibruce  [author] 17 Jul, 2015 @ 9:18am
I am currently working on DLC items and armour. The process for this mod is extremely time-consuming but I will try to get it released as soon as possible! oh and thanks for the suggestion, I will try and impiment this in a later version ^
mozzadoyle 17 Jul, 2015 @ 5:43am
Brilliant idea, I can see myself using this mod a lot. Thanks, Omnibruce
The [Friendly]™ Derakor 16 Jul, 2015 @ 9:06pm
it works like a charm, and now i can't wait for armor to be added to this as well. maybe also if able, being able to do this with potions would be neat as well. or maybe weapons and armor from the DLC's too. please keep this up, this mod is a great idea, plus helps get rid of clutter of stored weapons :)
The [Friendly]™ Derakor 16 Jul, 2015 @ 1:05pm
thank you , i was wondering about that. ill take a look now and see if that works. though a useful way of reducing clutter would be putting it at the smithy instead of the forge maybe, i know it doesn't make 100% sense, but, the smithy is used for little else and would reduce clutter, and you could show people what they need right there.
Omnibruce  [author] 16 Jul, 2015 @ 8:54am
Hey, thanks for using the mod man! I used scripts so that the items will not show up unless you have the items available, to avoid clutter. For it to show up, lets say you have 2 iron daggers. Go to a forge and then look under the "iron" tab. it should then have the iron dagger +1 available. For steel+ weapons you still have to have researched the corresponding tier of smithing. so without the perk "steel smithing" you wont be able to reforge any steel weapons. and likewise for any other material.

Again thanks for using the mod and I hope this helped you ^ :)
The [Friendly]™ Derakor 16 Jul, 2015 @ 6:57am
also ive downloaded it and i can;t seem to find the relevant materials tab, do you need to have a perk for it to work, or maybe a quick video on where to find it?
The [Friendly]™ Derakor 16 Jul, 2015 @ 6:37am
omg this is a great idea. for those who love the beginning weapons or armor. thank you, and please keep working on it. the modding world thanks you
