@Drathek could you open the source of this mod and allow the community to fix/publish it? I'll really like to try to fix these problems, it's a great mod!
PvE extinction server with this mod installed
ie ini settings we can tweek?
;o)
Charcoal produced properly, burns away 100% of all the useless material inside like the moisture and sappy stuff without harming the pure stuff that would make it a great fuel source. Ever barbecued over those black charcoal things you get in bags? Now those are great for fuel.

But I'd rather not mix torch mods up.
I just wish I could see these from further out, even with the game on max settings, the torches disappear and light disappears when I'm on the island and looking at the coast line of the Ark island. Like, trying to see Herbivore Island from Ark Island or Ark from Herb Island. I know its an issue with the game and not the mod though.
It's not triggered by time!
When I light a torch with charcoal (other ressources not tested) everything goes fine.
I waited a hole night-day-cycle (24h) and nothing happened. A bit confused I walked around the map and after I came back to my base, the light was reseted to normal standard light radius.
So, I built a new torch, lighted with charcoal, everything was ok. Light radius raised as it should.
Now I walked away from my base (a run of 2 minutes straight in one direction) and back again. The light was reseted to normal standard light radius. I reproduced it 2 times.
Can you or anyone confim this issue?
Any idea to solve this problem?
I used charcoal in my torches. All torches I placed yesterday burns with low radius.
So I picked up one torch and placed it again with charcoal. After this I waited a few seconds and saw, that the light radias raised as it should. Perfect! But at the next night, the light radius was decreased again to low level. The torch was burning the hole day til the next night. So I did the same as the night before, picked up the torch and placed it again with charcoal. After this I waited a few seconds again and saw that the light radius raised again as it should.
So basically it works, but it seems there is something going wrong with the night-day-night-cycle or after a while the light radius gets a reset to normal.
Keep at it man.
