I've cleaned up all the bad scripts and recompiled the Map Pack from scratch.
It's working just fine now and can be found here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1433392277
Thanks for your time,
Cheers

Thanks for the help, spending your time on this :)
I've created a Random Map Pack containing my 20 best-liked maps of AoE Vanilla, Conquerors, Forgotten Empires, and Rise of the Rajas ... giving each map a 5% chance.
However 90% or more of the time the "random" choice produces 'Cenotes', and of the remaining 10% three quarters are 'Acropolis'.
As much as I like Cenotes, the idea of a Random Map Pack is ... well, to be random, right?
So I've split the Map Pool into Random Map Packs I and II, each containing 10 maps with an equal 10% chance.
The result: 90% of Map Pack I are Cenotes, and 90% of Map Pack II are Mongolia.
Why does this happen, do you have any idea?
I've made sure no map script contains the (now unnecessary and always buggy) "include_drs random_map.def".
Some maps however do not contain an "ai_info_map_type".
I don't know what triggers this weird no-random behaviour and would be really grateful for a solution.
Cheers,
G.
The problem was I looked on youtube how to see the maps. In a video I found they told me I had to select in the option game -> scenario. But I saw nothing there.
But just found out if I select in the option map style -> custom, that the maps show up in the location dropdown.
Thanks for reply
