Report a translation problem
you find all maps that are custom under the custom battles tab the map belongs too ie, this ones a land battle.
No problem man, hope you work wonders.
@troy7trojans
Thanks man, wanted to put one actual map up here even if it was quite basic but im working on a sorta medium to large city now with a river and its taking a while for me also due to a vacation I took recently, Paused production cause my laptop cant really run Attila lol but now im back and resuming my Western Roman city.
Attila still crashes when starting a battle; it might due to the Deployment Zone Editor or to the AI hint polygons. I will try to figure the problem(s) out.
Thanks again Doomon!
5. To have an image you make a screenshot and save it as a png file and name it the same name as your maps file and it will automatically apply itself.
* If Attila crashes on startup or when you start battle then that might be an internal error you need to look at and fix to make it work again (like essentials) and redo the process.
Sorry if it’s too much info lol I go overboard sometimes but I just listed what I do as my process to make sure you can host your map with as less problems as I had, you can never be too careful lol.
1. What I do first is make a new battle setup after I’m done with the map and export it, (think this is optional idk for sure but I’ve been doing it personally just in case)
2. Then I save map as battlefield and give it proper names and info and then Bob processes it automatically.
3. Then after its done processing by Bob (takes a while) go to the folder located at------> Total War Attila\assembly_kit\retail\data<----- and there should be your pack file after you successfully saved.
4. Afterword’s simply move the pack file from there to the folder -----> Total War Attila\data<----- and then when you open Attila launcher it should be there along with your other mods.
first of all: tanks a lot for your map!
I am trying to make my own map now, but unfortunately I do not know how to bring them in the game. I followed all the steps written in the tutorial (http://wiki.totalwar.com/images/b/bf/TEd_Tutorial.pdf) but I fail at this point:
"Then, when you run Total War: Attila, it will appear in the launcher. If you want your map to have a photo, just give it the same name as your pack file and save as a .png image in the same folder." I do not see anything in the launcher; so, could you explain me how to integrate a custom battle map?
Thanks and kind regards

Its an excellent map though, perfect for the LOTR team that's currently making their mod. Though the AI doesn't move much unforuantely - those AI fools.
Wait, you created a Greek Small Town? That's a first, the Anicent Empires Team could have use of you in case.
Well, think of importing the Rome 2 data pack, open it up in PFM, find the models_2 files, or something like that, and import it onto the Attila Variantmeshes files. See if you can do that.
Try some small towns first, and then see if you can get it into the bigger cities.
but one question : can we create a NEW FORT-MARCHING CAMP also with TED ?
i mean : change simple wooden pallisaden wall to deployable wall ? ( like in minor roman town seen )
Keep up the good work!
Every time I try to save it does this, and it's pretty annoying to have all of your work just deleted like that.
