i'm aware that this mod isn't being maintained anymore but arvak appears to be unaffected by the mod, i've tested him against normal horses and it appears they are faster and he is the normal vanilla speed
kc7lzk 2 Aug, 2018 @ 6:07pm
The horse i was riding died i put a screenshot up in the steem cloud for you to look at.
kc7lzk 2 Aug, 2018 @ 5:27pm

Dark 4 Oct, 2017 @ 5:19pm
finally, got tired of my horse run like crazy to kill enemys... and then die:steamsad:
Chicken Joe 9 Jul, 2017 @ 10:37pm
will this make the horses like... not walk back to their original position now matter how far away we are?
Mr_Hig 17 Jan, 2017 @ 4:55am
Wild horses are basically immortal in my game with this mod, I'm on expert difficulty and a new character, so that might have something to do with it. But is that caused by this mod? Like they might be losing health, but I could only see like 1% of the hp loss with several full bars of 170 mana used in spells on it. I could kill it with a console command, though.

i think there is a problem with the mod. in the beggining of ze game nehind u hadvar using horse got to fast so it bumps the cart and make the cart well out of track. i didint use the mod and try again. now when i start the thing hadvar doesnt bump in me cart plz fix
Doghman The Great 1 Nov, 2016 @ 1:56pm
I think it's because you upload mods now on Bethesda.net , not the steam workshop.
Fezodge  [author] 1 Nov, 2016 @ 1:46pm
@Doghman The Great the Ck has now been released, however it does not have Steam support and as I will no longer be able to easily update this mod. I am very sorry.
Doghman The Great 30 Oct, 2016 @ 11:33am
Thanks a lot!
Fezodge  [author] 30 Oct, 2016 @ 4:51am
@Doghman The Great Oh, ok! I'll see how the new CK is and then get back to you!
Fezodge  [author] 29 Oct, 2016 @ 12:32pm
@Doghman The Great No problem. It depends on how the new CK works to be honest. If its as clumsy and restricted as the old one, then probably not. However if its easier and less confusing then I might give it a go. What kind of mods are you looking for?
Fezodge  [author] 29 Oct, 2016 @ 10:28am
@Doghman The Great While I would love to update this mod, unfortunalty the Creation Kit for the SE isn't out yet, so it's impossible to do so. I will get to work on it as soon as I can however!
Spirit 8 May, 2016 @ 7:24am
Look, now the horses works very well! More than what I expected, but after a save the armor on my horse disappeared XD any diea?
Spirit 7 May, 2016 @ 5:54am
tried it aaand, amazing, to me it works perfectly ! :) thank you! finally a horse that walk normally and not in slow motion XD :P
Fezodge  [author] 7 May, 2016 @ 2:58am
I edited the description showing how you can get around the opening cutscene bug. Hope this helps!
Spirit 6 May, 2016 @ 5:00pm
to everyone, horses usually avoid battles, yeah, BUT they can be also aggressive if NEEDED, plus if they are DEFENDING SOMEONE, it can be a cub or it's owner , since they are amazing strong and LOYAL creatures, about this mod..is it that bad? I mean, it's so full of bugs? i'm curious
Darby_Lynn 27 Feb, 2016 @ 3:37pm
I had to disable the mod. The horse carts would go straight to the rocks and off of the road at the beginning of the game.
Wraith Shadow Wolf 28 Dec, 2015 @ 1:20pm
had to disable this. totaly glitched :steamfacepalm:
amelka1337 27 Dec, 2015 @ 12:08pm
The beginning totally glitches and you end up spinning in a broken cart.
Zero El Hero 19 Dec, 2015 @ 9:13pm
Horses running away fuck that. i want my horse to kick some ass.
Trackerere 19 Dec, 2015 @ 6:28am
The horses also should run away. I just hate when my horse randomly attacks a group of vampires and dies. They should avoid battle when not mounted.
gershommontana2006 16 Dec, 2015 @ 9:03pm
Well this sucks, I am looking for a fix to "horses running away" and every horse mod I've encountered is either as buggy as hell or is no longer supported :(
Eulerich 2 Dec, 2015 @ 11:08am
@SherabTod i agree
SherabTod 23 Oct, 2015 @ 5:30am
could you maybe add that horses avoid battles a like a normal plant-eater would?
Stoner 9 Oct, 2015 @ 11:12am
So i like the mod but when I start a new game it messes up the scripted ways for the horses pulling the prison carts and you end up stucked in the forest.
Just keep this in mind if, so you don´t get problems.
jadedkratosttv 8 Oct, 2015 @ 1:43pm
No problem, I tend to run across the wilds of Skyrim and when I over encumber I summon Thunderdash the ghostly horse and teleport to another location. Since I got several zombie mods, Mistwalker mods, dragon mods and giant mods it would be very difficult to keep me and the horse alive.
Fezodge  [author] 8 Oct, 2015 @ 9:08am
@fishert2208901 Sorry, but I'm kinda done with this mod, and modding in general. Also from what i remeber that would be quite hard, and require a lot of more scripting, which I've forgotton...
Hermit 7 Oct, 2015 @ 5:41pm
this mod made traveling on horseback so much better for me thank you i hated fast traveling and having to load all the time xD
jadedkratosttv 3 Oct, 2015 @ 11:52am
Can you tweak this mod so you can actually fight from horseback? Melee sucks balls and archery sucks smelly wet farts.
eeffoc 11 Sep, 2015 @ 10:39am
Okay, Thanks for taking the time to reply, good mod btw
Fezodge  [author] 11 Sep, 2015 @ 10:19am
@Jayem Oh, sorry, I read your post wrong... Yes, It used to not work due to the fact that the DB horse had a seperate data file. I edited that one to now though!
eeffoc 7 Sep, 2015 @ 11:08am
I was just asking if it did now work :P sorry to trouble you
Fezodge  [author] 7 Sep, 2015 @ 10:05am
@Jayem Are you sure? I pushed an update which fixed this a while ago. Have you got the latestb update?
Fezodge  [author] 7 Sep, 2015 @ 10:04am
@Swifter Yeah, i realised this a few days ago... Not much I can do about it though unfortunaly...
eeffoc 30 Aug, 2015 @ 10:12am
I have no idea why it would not, but does this work with the DB horse ShadowMere
Snail 22 Aug, 2015 @ 3:10pm
Just as a warning to all of you, don't have this mod active when you create a new save. It breaks the entire starting sequence. On the other hand, it does create some quite funny moments.
楠木正成 12 Aug, 2015 @ 6:40pm
Convenient Horses. Enough said.:steammocking:

ITS COMMUNISM TIME 27 Jul, 2015 @ 2:41pm
the guy below me, this mod is amazing, it makes that 1000 gold more worth it
Fezodge  [author] 27 Jul, 2015 @ 2:33am
What do you mean by that?
ITS COMMUNISM TIME 26 Jul, 2015 @ 6:30pm
copy paster alert
Tea Thief 24 Jul, 2015 @ 1:56pm
awesome
Fezodge  [author] 13 Jul, 2015 @ 8:47am
@Stoner It should be, as long as you put Improved Horses below Conveniant. If you do it the other way round, CH might overwrite some of the values that exist in my mod, and so stop it from working. It shouldn't (I don't think) crash/brake your game though.
RamblinRick 13 Jul, 2015 @ 5:02am
Thanks. In the meanwhile, I discovered Convenient Horses. Is Improved Horses compatible with CH?
Fezodge  [author] 12 Jul, 2015 @ 1:47pm
@Stoner This would certainly be possible, although it would probably fit in better with another mod. This is about Improoving the actually horses, not making tham extra items. However, I am thinging of making a mod like this, so if I do, I'll give you the link!
RamblinRick 30 Jun, 2015 @ 12:13pm
Would it be possible to give horses storage/saddlebags?
Currently, when I have more items than I can handle, I slow down and can't run. Riding the horse alleviates that problem until I dismount.
I'd like to store the items in saddlebags, so that when I dismount, I'm no longer over-loaded.
Perhaps make the bags capable of holding 3, 5, or 10 times the amount the player can?
Thus, when I get to a store, I can unload the saddle bags onto the player and then go sell them.
Spaceballz 30 Jun, 2015 @ 10:07am
gonna give it a go
