R.I.P
You have to attribute your changes to every general's VMD with a *_fl_* suffix, if not when they are heirs and they become the new faction leader they will get the default unchanged gears from the base game.
I Fixed the baldness of the king's heirs, please tell me if it's work for you.
It's a bug from the base game (I just imported the king and the generals from The Last Roman DLC), some heirs have hair some not, maybe CA want to gave them baldness look.
I'll see if I can do something about that.
Yes it's part of the mod, the generals just get better armours when they progress, their helmet are the same when they start to get XP. Basically I just imported the generals from The Last Roman DLC to the grand campaign.
I don't think this bug is related to my mod (because I checked) or the Noif's mod (because it doesn't modify this type of files).
You maybe use a other mod on the top of those ones or there are maybe some files in your data folder which interfere with your favorite mods.
This mod cant be use Frank Recolor mod??

Im really like your works dude. but I like blue color frank too.
how can I use Frank Recolor too without problem?
Yes it's historically accurate, but CA (the developers) use the same roster for the grand campaign and the last roman campaign, so obviously some gears may are from a early or a further time frame.
When you have to think in term of game design to have diversity and differences between units, and all of that in relation with their statistics, you have to do compromises with the historical time frame, otherwise all the game will be blank and monotonous.
But don't worry those compromises to keep the game attractive are at farthest to a century. In archaeological term and logic i think it's quite a good.
No, the *.pack file is huge because there is a lot of new 3D models, textures, and for the biggest part, new images for the portraits of the faction leader (including his heirs) and generals that have to be in the *.png format, meaning a heavy uncompressed format unlike the *.jpeg one.
Maybe in the future.
I don't know try it and if the change doesn't appear use the mod manager. All the details are in the mod description.
Yes they are completely compatible
I already made a reskin mod for the vikings and the saxons maybe you'll like it:
