Thank you very much.....the second one was the one I wanted.

Great map by the way, congrats.

I'm not sure exactly which one I used to make that one but here's a couple that it might have been.

They may not be exact as I tend to change them a bit to fit the layout. GL!

I looked everywhere for a interchange highway connection with roundabout like the one in this map, but I cant find. I dont want the one in the start area, but the one just near it. Anyone can point me there?

Sure, just give credit.

can i have permission to upload a improved version of your map? ( your map is used as a base but the terrain and roads are completely changed )
Kold  [author] 4 Sep, 2015 @ 2:31pm
Thanks sieb22! I may make some more maps in the future.

Great map im totally loving it some parts are a bit unrealistic like the train tracks but who cares its a game, can you make another map which has the same features
Kold  [author] 3 Jul, 2015 @ 8:38pm
Thanks Kingdomdeluxe!

very nice map, i love it ... n1 Kold

That whole area is full of ore resource so it's basically a giant quarry/train/shipyard surrounded by mountains.
lucasgregorio10 29 Jun, 2015 @ 5:31pm
why is the land that shape in the 6th picture
Kold  [author] 28 Jun, 2015 @ 5:52pm
Ahh gotcha. I played the game for weeks before I even realized you could raise them at all lol.
Alakaslam 28 Jun, 2015 @ 5:48pm
Ah touche I could've raised them high before the highway. Would've worked. Was raising only the one in the middle.
Kold  [author] 28 Jun, 2015 @ 5:46pm
No problem at all. I appreciate the feedback. I can't improve it if no one says anything.)
The power lines go pretty far, you should be able to get over most stuff. Sometimes the placement can be a little finicky. http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=471456011 . They actually go 60m high but look totally ridiculous lol. These are 18 or 21 I think.
Alakaslam 28 Jun, 2015 @ 5:09pm
Thanks for the response Kold. Diligent and enthusiastic!

1. Yeh had to do that but I didn't wanna delete that beautiful line you made under the highway. Beautiful but impractical lol.
2. While you can put roads underground, you can't put electricity underground and again like in point one, it was impossible to raise the lines over the highway because in the median was the trainline blocking a pole from being placed.
3. Nice job :) I did end up buying that tile for water primarily.

Good stuff.
Kold  [author] 28 Jun, 2015 @ 1:12pm
The update addressed all of your criticisms. A couple of tips here.
1. You don't have to leave the rail under the freeway, just delete and run it out, problem solved.
You will have to run it out to make a station anyway. Most maps don't even have rail near the first tile. I know its tough making intersections like that but I like the challenge. There actually already is rail ran outside the freeway in the first tile. (I expanded this in the update.) You can delete it under the freeway without affecting anything. Also you should have 'natural' trains now.)
2. On power lines, you just hit the page up key and it will raise over the freeway, page down to lower.
3 The updated river has a lot more water and flow to support a lot more cims but you'll eventually want to expand and find another source. There is unlimited ocean water (with current) only 1 tile away.
Kold  [author] 28 Jun, 2015 @ 1:05pm
Ok, so after awhile of playtesting there was an issue with the many pumps changing the current of the river and reversing the sewage flow. Updated now, addressed some of the other valid criticisms as well. Great feedback, thanks!

Hey man, it's a beautiful map. I understand you made it for yourself, but I have some criticisms after playing it for a few days. The rail line under the highway on the starting tile makes creating highway on/off ramps a pain (had to go underground) and electricity powerlines impossible from one side to the other. Also, would've been nice to have some of the natural trains running through. Didn't see any of them and couldn't get some easy tourists. Last thing is a lack of water on the starting tile. I like to fill out one tile before buying another and trying to get water and sewerage into that small river was troublesome. Two sewerage pumps began to spread sewerage upstream, while two water pumps drained the river dry.

Otherwise, the map is beautiful. Could use some more oil/ore resources early on.

Thanks guys!
@agusingnavy, thanks man! and thanks for the epic intersection, I would'nt even know where to start on something like that.)
agusingnavy 24 Jun, 2015 @ 2:56am
I was making a map today and then I saw this beauty, I've been wasting my time lol:). I'll start a city in this map maybe this weekend and will share some screenshots, promise. I don't know why is your last map but will not ask. Great job mate, and good luck.

I second the beautiful comment! Those mountains look really great!
