water should also rust the armour and wear it down as well as slow down for clothed npc like bandits who use fur armour or civiliains maby also a magca restor spell or water ward for restoration wouldnt be to bad ether and wind earth and water ward or defensive ones would be nice also

If its possible, I'd suggest making the water spells slightly more powerful than their counterparts, but in return require both fire and frost perks for bonuses while receiving half the benefit from each (if possible). Thus it would require twice the perks but resulting in a stronger magic for pure mages.

Alternatively I think a standalone perk set would be a great idea for these new spells, and changing them to do slightly less damage than say fire since they reduce both the regeneration of magicka and stamina.

Water spells should slow the target's movement speed down, since his clothes/armour soaks all the water. The target should also get additional damage if it already has a frost effect.

Cool idea. Suggestion for side effect of making target weak vs electrical attacks but stronger vs fire. Weak against frost would also make sense. Argonians should be immune or resistant to water damage. Just some thoughts. Thank you for sharing your work with everyone.

I don't know if its been suggested already, but for the secondary effect, how about 'Increases damage taken by physical attacks'? It'd give it better synergy as an enchantment than others, and it'd make it more appealing for spell blade builds. Just a thought though.

I'll add perks for water spells eventually. I decided to leave perks out in the begining because a fair amount of people who used the wind magic mod experienced conflicts with other mods that changed the perks of the destruction tree. Currently I'm working on a mod that combines water, wind , and earth magic. After I release that one, I'll relase another version that contains perks for the new magic types.

The combined mod should be done by the end of the month, but I can't say for certain when I'll release it on the workshop. Currently I plan on releasing a beta version on the nexus first, then once I'm satisfied i've fixed any bugs that I overlooked, I'll release it on the workshop.

You should make skill perks exclusive to water , because it seems a little op upgrading two skills at the price of one , and the "big" water skill could make a bubble of water in the enemy head and it will slowly drown

I am only able to get rapids and nothing else. How random is the spawn rate of the spells? Because if there are others with the same issue perhaps you could make so that one vendor would sell the tomes. However i will do a second run with the wizards and see if they have them. Thanks :)

This mod had crashed my game everytime I had opened up the magic menu. Even after I tried to unsuscribe to the mod, it still keeps happening.

Wouldn't it make more sense if water slowed down enemies. Water makes clothing heavier. I mean it would be quite useful.

Btw, I subscribed to this water magic mod but when i asked all the teachers in Winterhold, that includes Faralda (Destruction teacher for the college) none of them had any of your spells tomes for water magic. I am going to check with Whiterun's wizard too but thought i let you know I am not able to find them. Could you tell me where to look?
