ok. I dont know much about the 1911. i have so many fucking mods i cant see it in the crowd.

You don't have to think the 1911 is good, but I think it's great, the stopping power is invaluable in a secondary. However the magzine size is restricting and there is no suppressed variant, so I wanted to change that.

Im pretty shure there isnt a "best" gun but good mod, anyhow.

I know that the popular term is silencer, but suppressor is what I choose, and also, I can only change the sound radius, I can not change how well enemys hear in a silent room, the game does not allow for something so complex (yet)

also the popular turm for sound suppressor is silencer.... however all that does is muffle the shot as it leaves the mussle.... to quiet gun further then that well you load subsonic ammo or.... well make supressor better or decrease calibur.... subsonic ammo less speed less oomph aganst armor.... then again recoil is reduced so ... well for the shooter ..... acuracy slightly incresed due to kick not as intence .... so follow up will be better... still round less range less speed less punch thru.. and much quieter.. not that if an enemy wouldnt hear in a soundless room....sooo yeah....

I was talking to 44 sunsets.

I know the suppressed version looks like it has less power, but it actually has the exact same damage, I have no idea why it shows as less in the game, but it does the same. And, I know the 2011 is not the 1911, but it's still fun to have a 2 shot pistol.

Yoou do realize, 44sunsets, that the 2011 version is not the original version of the 1911 right? The 1911 is, and they seem about comperable.

How come the suppressed version has a lot less stopping power than the regular version? The .45 ACP round is slow and heavy so suppressing it should only affect the stopping power a little bit.
Not a criticism, just an observation.
