You can make this DX11 Compatible, but you would have to download the actual background file and manually replace it where the stock skybox is. I am sure though that Keen will release some kind of tool to help with skyboxes, as there are far too many to just kill a whole section of the modding communities works... and they also have it hardcoded in the game...
