Looking at the pictures, I see an impressive ship, albeit lightly armored. I would class it as a Battlecruiser due to the light armor usage alone.

Will you publish another cool ship anytime soon?

Hey man, just wanted to tell you that this ship is pretty amazing. Since you haven't really touched this since May I updated the ship and added some more bells and whistles.

Just wanted to tell you thanks for making such a cool ship.

I'll tell ya what, this ship is amazing! I love the design and practicality of the ship, reminds me of a big brother to my Jericho ship! Ranger gives a lot of advice but honestly its a little annoying to nit pick YOUR ship and YOUR design, keep up the great work and hope to see more beutiful ship designs like this!

So I'm sorry to say, but I don't think that I'm going to have the Carrier done by today, too many RL things got in the way. But I will have it out by the end of this weekend, and maybe a destroyer or frigate as well.

Really enjoy the hidden nuke launcher, I've enjoyed blowing up my friends with it. :3

Oh, that's a beauty there

Holy hell that's a lot of feedback, I'll keep those points in mind for future ships.

Forgot one more detail: Bridge should be mirrored, meaning there should be one on the other side of the ship too.
Inquisitor Emalleso 26 May, 2015 @ 7:41pm
Part 5 (final): The hangar bay airtight door should be protected by some sort of door composed of blast door parts. Also, bulkheads around the hangars should be incredibly strong. One of the easiest ways to get a ship to shear in half is to damage the hangar enough. Same reinforcing goes for Upwards, downwards, left and right capital thrusters, and the "midpoint" of the ship.

Please do not take this harshly. Your ship is still fun and awesome, and you should be proud of making a something like it.

P.S. Please make these changes, it will increase your ships caliber by an incredible degree (and i spent a long ass time writing this, please don't let it be in vain).
Inquisitor Emalleso 26 May, 2015 @ 7:41pm
Part 4: Your propulsion systems have a few severe flaws. Upwards, downwards, left, and right propulsion is just as important as forward and reverse. Recommend expanding ship to fit more capital grade thrusters in said directions. This being said, your main cluster of engines at the rear will not survive combat for long. The engines themselves are very exposed, and will receive direct weapons fire, thus being disabled/destroyed easily. Recommend insetting(refer to paragraph 1) the engines and building a new section of the ship around them to greatly ensure survivability. This will also allow more room for point defense for vulnerable engines. Similar, but far smaller accommodations should be made for the (to be installed) capital engines controlling Upwards, downwards, left and right propulsion; no new expansions of the ship, just insetting. Make sure to have plenty of smaller back-up thrusters like sages industrial in case enough engines go offline to maintain mobility.

Inquisitor Emalleso 26 May, 2015 @ 7:41pm
Part 3 :The ship of the line configuration of your primary weapons is a major strategic vulnerability, coupling it with the weapons firing arcs, it will be extremely hard to successfully fire upon a target with most of the weaponry. You MUST rearrange your ships weapon hardpoints to rectify this issue. In addition to this, your main source of kick ass is limited by its limited presence on one side of the ship. The underside should mirror the top in regards to all weaponry, AKA equal distribution of various weapons systems. The whole main gun above more rows of point defense scheme is intolerably combat ineffective.

Inquisitor Emalleso 26 May, 2015 @ 7:40pm
Part 2: As for the weapons, The turreted point defenses are vulnerable, nice and lined up for a precision strike. Recommend emergency weapon repair welders, even potential hologram repair system when a turret is lost completely. The MWI turrets are extremely dangerous, however, they have a very limited firing arc. Space is a 3D place, should enemies come they wont have to come directly above or below the ship to avoid its (MWI) firing arcs. Turrets could potentially blow each other up when firing at a target. Recommend adding different weapon systems (mods)t o rectify, The Gigantic guns are VERY easy targets, and will go down to relatively lighter or similar weaponry to an exceptionally easy degree. Recommend spreading out turrets and building some form of deployable and/or retractable armor which will not restrict the firing arc in use, and be able to detatch or repair itself should it become damaged and unable to close.

Inquisitor Emalleso 26 May, 2015 @ 7:40pm
Part 1:Bridge is a deathtrap. Recommend using TSVI diamond bonded glass and Shadowflux's refurbished armored windows in front of said glass. The glass should be dual layered, meaning there should be an empty space in between two or more panes, just like in TSVI's ships. I also recommend Insetting the windows to an insane degree. The same way our eyeballs are "within" our faces. This decreases the probability of a direct hit on the transparent material layers ie. Armored windows followed by layered diamond glass. The deeper the placement of bridge windows, the better.

Great work, somehow reminds me homeworld's ships, but just in the general design of it, i don't think there is any looking like this one.
OpaIon 23 May, 2015 @ 2:02am
WOW, epic work man!
