Good building but the blue roof is too bright.

On me, this seems to demand a land value which is not possible in the game.

Many of these RICO buildings have too high demand for services and land value, like for instance, i have many factories that need church, school, hospital in addition to just police and fire which is okay for in game industry.

Ladeia 28 Jul, 2015 @ 6:02am
You should make those buildings growables and assing them to a Building Theme.
olooriel 8 Jun, 2015 @ 12:15pm
Love your buildings! The Lidl sign on this one seems to be hanging about a meter above ground though?
Shake Racer 23 May, 2015 @ 10:11pm
Echt nice!!
Monkeysaur 23 May, 2015 @ 6:49am
Growable smaller stores sounds great!

Sometimes they are stand alone stores, but often they form the lower floor of medium sized commercial buildings, that would be cool also.
rik4000  [author] 23 May, 2015 @ 6:41am
The only problem with Growable is the maximum size is only 4x4 and for a large supermarket that is way too small.

I agree that for large cities you will find many of these around but this originally was a personal project for my own large town and i started making them unique building so didnt really want to swap them to growable or parks halfway through.

I am planning on making a smaller growable set in the future though such as Tesco express etc

Its all part of the fun :)

NeoKuro 23 May, 2015 @ 6:30am
Tbh I think these supermarket chains would be better off being a 'growable' building, I've seen many cities having like 5+ of them. Just a thought ;) Perhaps just have their HQ as a unique building :)
Monkeysaur 22 May, 2015 @ 2:34pm
Thanks!
Monkeysaur 22 May, 2015 @ 2:23pm
It's only this one I have a LOD problem with. All of these look so good, I have another question. In your screenshots of your retail park you are using some kind of car parks with trees & bushes, which ones are those?

Thanks.
rik4000  [author] 22 May, 2015 @ 2:21pm
Yeah the losing the detail is a custom lod thing, im working on making them better (especially with Iceland), so ill probably update these assets in the near future.

Ha, im not sure how to make them more busy, i did put tourist level up pretty high and entertainment is pretty high as well.
Monkeysaur 22 May, 2015 @ 2:15pm
Also, is there any way to make them more busy/popular?

I feel that my Tesco car park should be more full! XD
Monkeysaur 22 May, 2015 @ 2:15pm
These are great, only with this one though I lose detail from the roof at a distance.

These are some of my favorite mods thanks!
Dexphobic 21 May, 2015 @ 3:02pm
it worked for assets but mods still wont show in content manager
Dexphobic 21 May, 2015 @ 2:59pm
ill give that a go thanks
propagandaxcontrol 21 May, 2015 @ 2:17pm
When your mods don't show up, exit Steam. When it's closed, open it again. When it's open, go to your library. Next to Cities: Skylines it should say "Ready to play!" I you look at the bottom of your screen, you will see a download is in progress. When it's done, the "Ready to play" part should be gone. Open the game and everything should be all fine and dandy.
Dexphobic 21 May, 2015 @ 1:57pm
ive been watching 2 big youtubers skylines series and there saves are broken now because of the new update same as me why i started a new map and added the assets in but they no longer show in game they show in the content manager under workshop but not under assets
rik4000  [author] 21 May, 2015 @ 1:21pm
Every asset i have works fine for me, is anyone else having problems?

@RockorangeEdits Sure
propagandaxcontrol 21 May, 2015 @ 1:13pm
@rik4000 I just figured out how to fix it if you'd like to know.
Dexphobic 21 May, 2015 @ 12:33pm
its not that they dont work they dont appear in the content manager in skylines
rik4000  [author] 21 May, 2015 @ 12:20pm
Hmm they were all working last night, ill have a look into it.
propagandaxcontrol 21 May, 2015 @ 12:04pm
@Gamergeek067 I don't think any steam workshop stuff does. At least for me.
Dexphobic 21 May, 2015 @ 11:02am
none of your UK Retail stores work with the new skylines update
propagandaxcontrol 21 May, 2015 @ 6:24am
How do you do these? I'm gonna see if I can do some.
rik4000  [author] 21 May, 2015 @ 6:03am
I will probably do a few of these as growable's in the future (tesco express etc), but supermarkets dont really look that great at a 4x4 size.
Froggy_NL 21 May, 2015 @ 4:29am
Looks nice, but really works for me if its a growable one.. that way it really function as a shop that sells stuff and pay taxes
Stigski 20 May, 2015 @ 5:48pm
I've been waiting for this! Thank you!
PaulRyan 20 May, 2015 @ 3:53pm
You keep delivering!! I've subscribed to all so that I can make a big retail park for my Cims and probably pop some down such as this one for covering the retail needs of a neighbourhood. Thank you.
