"Spell-Forged Steel? That's cute, I have Fallen Star-Forged Steel!"

I appreciate it, though in the interest of full disclosure, I haven't touched this in quite some time. Given the overall pace, I might never get around to all of them. Then again, the release of a new ASOIAF book or a new Elder Scrolls game might very well spur me to speed things up.

There have also been a lot of requests for Dawn, which is currently in a long-ignored, half-finished state.

Here's a list for the remaining ones:
Vigilance: The Hightowers'
Truth: Last wielded by Moredo of Lys
Sandoq the Shadow's Curved Blade
Orphan-Maker: The Roxtons'
Lamentation: The Royces'
Widow's Wail: Oathkeeper's Sister Blade
Brightroar: The Lannisters'
Celtigar's Axe
Littlefinger's Dagger
Red Rain: The Drumms'

Perhaps also add these?
Aegon the Conqueror's Crown
Euron's Armor

I'm aware that's a little vague. Sorry about that; it would be a little too verbose to give a full explanation there.

The item IDs are based on mod load order, so I can't tell you exactly what they will be in your case. Specifically, the first two digits indicate that they came from this mod. For that reason, although the digits will vary from person to person, they will be the same between swords for a given person.

Due to all of this, what you need to do in order to find the IDs is type help "Longclaw" 4 and replace all of the ??s in my listed IDs with the first two digits of the result.

The details of the command I listed are pretty arbitrary. The "Longclaw" part just needs to be the name of one of the items in this mod, with the caveat that the name "Ice" won't work because it will match too many game resources. As for the "4" part, that merely filters out some additional information that you don't need. It's not strictly necessary.

what do you mean the first 2 digits vary?
Lavirius 18 Sep, 2017 @ 11:58am
thx
ForgottenLore  [author] 17 Sep, 2017 @ 2:45pm
It's available in both locations. Nexus Mods has versions for standard and SE, Bethesda for SE only. I don't think I've uploaded an SE version on the Steam Workshop. They should be fairly easy to find, but I think I've posted links in these comments somewhere if you need them.
Lavirius 17 Sep, 2017 @ 11:49am
Can this be ported over to the Bethesta modsso it can be used for special edition. If not is it available on the nexus?
ForgottenLore  [author] 18 Aug, 2017 @ 8:16pm
I'll keep that in mind when I remake Longclaw.

As for Brothers of Darkness (or any other book), I'd recommend searching the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages (UESP) or the Skyrim Wikia. Apart from that, it should be obtainable as random loot.
The_Best_Fool 16 Aug, 2017 @ 11:09pm
where do u get brothers of darkness
arnoldjosh13 16 Aug, 2017 @ 2:14pm
well that bring up another problem that, long claw is to long. hand and a-half swords aren't that much longer than arming swords and your long claw is the size of a normal two handed sword
ForgottenLore  [author] 15 Aug, 2017 @ 7:40pm
I'll take a look at that. As for Longclaw, however, a long handle is consistent with it being a hand-and-a-half sword. (Of course, I plan to remake that sword entirely sooner or later.)
arnoldjosh13 15 Aug, 2017 @ 6:28pm
i think you made the grips just a bit too long on oathkeeeper, longclaw and darksister. it almost makes them like diffrent styles of swords altogether.

Good news!

Today, I finally decided to finish my remake of Ice. I'll update the mod as soon as I'm feeling up to changing the screenshots. Probably today or tomorrow. I'll probably see about uploading the mod on those other sites while I'm at it.
ForgottenLore  [author] 13 Jan, 2017 @ 12:53pm
Glad you like it.

Regarding Vaultboy's request, I just realized I still haven't followed through on uploading it to those other sites (though it is on Nexus Mods, where it has a longer description due to the lack of a character limit).

ForgottenLore  [author] 15 Dec, 2016 @ 5:10pm
I'll probably get to that over the next few weeks.

super simple really, i just have a mac is all. just use this.. http://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Main_Page
ForgottenLore  [author] 13 Dec, 2016 @ 8:41pm
I'll look into it. I don't think those options existed when I first made this, so I've never tried to upload mods there, but I'll do that at some point.
xVAULTBOY111x 13 Dec, 2016 @ 8:19pm
port for bethesda.net and xbox? would love to use these there too!
ForgottenLore  [author] 3 Aug, 2016 @ 8:12pm
That's a funny story, actually. I initially made it two-handed, but I changed it after a number of people mentioned that it is in fact supposed to be a longsword, not a greatsword. I get the impression it might have been intended as a hand-and-a-half variety, so I'll probably try to add equip-mode switching at some point. That's quite involved, though, so it's not a short-term priority. In the mean time, I've been working (off and on for quite a while now) on a remake of Ice. It's much prettier than the old one, so I hope that will suffice for now. (Of course, that's not done, either. It's much closer, though.)

I WANT BLACKFYRE 2HANDED !!!!!!!!!!!
ForgottenLore  [author] 2 Jul, 2016 @ 4:20pm
The main reason why some are blockish is that I learned to use 3DS Max specifically to make this mod. My earlier swords were therefore my first experience with the program. I've been working on a remake of Ice, though.
camster1237 2 Jul, 2016 @ 1:04am
they're just kind of blockish, I guess, you accomplished what you set out too, in that the blades are accurate in alignment with the books, but they don't look like real swords, like the show makes them.
ForgottenLore  [author] 30 Jun, 2016 @ 11:02pm
I'm not quite sure what your point is. Do you have a problem with how they look in this?
camster1237 30 Jun, 2016 @ 10:44pm
I'm not saying they're wrong "based solely on the show", but I do have some beef with them includig the show, yes they're "more accurate" in alignment with the books, but at least they tried to make them look like real, useable weapons in the show.
ForgottenLore  [author] 15 Jun, 2016 @ 8:23pm
I'm planning on adding it at some point. It might go in a separate mod since it's not technically Valyrian steel, but I'll add a link in this mod page if I take that route.
Domio 15 Jun, 2016 @ 7:49pm
Any chances of creating Dawn?
ForgottenLore  [author] 29 May, 2016 @ 11:58pm
Hmm? Those item codes aren't the commands themselves; the command you want is
player.additem [item code] 1

Before you can do that, though, you need to find the item code for the sword you want. To do that, type
help "[sword name]"

The reason why this is necessary is that the first two digits of the item ID vary depending on the mods you have installed. However, the first two digits will be the same for every sword in this mod; I just don't know what they will be.

The reason why I listed the IDs at all is that, in the case of Ice, simply typing help "Ice" will yield results for everything in the game containing the string "Ice" (which is a lot of things). Therefore, to find Ice's ID, search for any other sword in this mod and use the first two digits of that sword's ID with the last six digits of Ice's ID from the description.

the commands dont work...
ForgottenLore  [author] 20 Feb, 2016 @ 11:10pm
If you mean the books required to craft the items, you should be able to find their locations on the UESP or the Skyrim Wikia.
Kers-i krok 20 Feb, 2016 @ 5:41pm
Where can I find books
ForgottenLore  [author] 13 Feb, 2016 @ 3:32pm
Thank you. I appreciate that.
Sutairn 13 Feb, 2016 @ 7:29am
Thank you for putting the time in to do this mod. It is a wonderful add to the game.
ForgottenLore  [author] 30 Jan, 2016 @ 10:22pm
I plan to make Dawn at some point, but I might put it in a separate mod since it's technically not Valyrian steel. If I make it a separate mod, I'll add some way to find it from this page.
Sutairn 30 Jan, 2016 @ 1:58pm
Could we get "Dawn" the sword returned to House Dayne by Ned Stark after the Tower of Joy incident.
ForgottenLore  [author] 11 Jan, 2016 @ 9:05pm
Deadflame, I should mention that I messed up on the Blackfyre model. It looks cool (in my opinion), but I failed to take into account some information about its appearance that is mentioned in canonical sources other than the books themselves. I made it a flamberge, where it was apparently supposed to be a hand-and-a-half sword.
Oghma Infinium 11 Jan, 2016 @ 6:21pm

ForgottenLore  [author] 19 Nov, 2015 @ 4:22pm
Sure. I'll put it on Nexus Mods, probably this weekend. I'd planned on doing that eventually, but I didn't have a reason to go ahead and do it until now. I'll post another comment when it's up.
