Could you update the dampener factor? It is currently 10 while the vanilla thrusters have dropped to 1.
Also could you do 2*3*4 equivilents (i.e 6*9*12, 12*18*48, 24*36*96)
@Crafter-Of-Mines213 [NL] Ever heard of this is bigger than the large thruster? Everyone has a large thruster, now there's the XL (eXtra Large) Thruster! It's pretty awesome, too!
Thanks in advance.
Its rear profile is 50% larger, matching the increase in force. Its power requirement is 178 MW/kN, some 30-40% more effective (large/large has 270 MW/kN). Its volume is more than double that of the large/large. So it matches rear-profile per force, it is more effective, but also more bulky. I would say its balanced then.
However, I would like that it had a better force-to-profile reatio, and was less effective, while keeping its inflated bulk. Large ships struggle with having enough thrust, with rear space being the major limiting factor to aliviate the problem. With the same force-to-profile ratio, this thruster does not help in that regard.
This is only my take on design, and I think that this thruster strikes a better balance than many thrusters on the workshop.
NB: I dont use grav-drives, so I am always interested in balanced thrusters.
