While the old Celts had a similar faith, these could actually really be an atmospheric improvement. Nice idea. Thanks for sharing it.

I can't figure out how to get this working. Maybe I'm dumb, but who do I see about getting the tattoos in the DMS campaign?

interesting idea. Magical tattoos, that use the same slots as the cyberware, but dont affect essence. If not limited and if it has no side-effects (such as cyberware has for diminishing essence) it would be overpowered...
