So, this is just like the Democratic Party usually operates? I thought this game was supposed to take place in an alternate universe.

The one part of this that makes no sense is Holds and towns that are aligned with the Stormcloaks wouldn't honor the tax during the Civil War. The only taxable areas during the Civil War should be Imperial held Holds and towns, like Solitude and Dragonbridge for example. I could see later if the Imperials win the war that then those areas would then be taxable. Alternately if the Stormcloaks win then the tax should be removed from Skyrim. I like the idea of this mod but but it has too many inconsistencies, so I'll pass.

How sad can you get? If you want the tax money that bad, ask the Thalmor for it
Colluplino 28 Oct, 2017 @ 1:54pm
... And that, children, is why it's better not to ask Stormcloacks if they can make a joke.

And this is why the imperials suck, charging you for EVERYTHING

@StateShitz Imperials do have control over Windhelm if you fight for the Imperials. It was easy killing every Stormcloak in Windhelm! Hail the Imperials!

Just a little saying, Imperials aren't Democratic, thats a Republic, their a Empire.

this mod sucks, the imperials suck, and why do you have to pay a tax for entering/leaving windhelm, windhelm isn't with the imperials/empire anyways. Their against them, if tou leave windhelm you shouldent even have to talk to an imperial because they have no control over windhelm. Therefore you shouldent have to pay any tax for windhelm.

Hey altbert i know you discontinued this but it's a great mod maybe consider finishing it
SkaarSmashKikou 22 Jun, 2015 @ 8:00pm
The mysterious benefactor sound like a Skyrim version of Robin Hood. I know that this mod was discontinued, but the idea stay great
Stormblade 4 May, 2015 @ 7:37am
Damn that's too bad. Cool idea though.

This mod was just a satirical protest against paid mods. Paid mods are cancelled by Valve/Bethesda, so there's no real need to continue this mod. I had some ideas to continue this mod, but it probably will take too much time to complete. Unsubscribe, or you will keep loosing lots of money. However, you could always walk around the gates and as for the larger cities, use fast travel. In that case it will cost you nothing.
Stormblade 3 May, 2015 @ 3:16pm
And what happens when the "People of Skyrim" win the War? Shall we be expected to pay this defeated Empire's tax? That's another point, what of this tax when we do indeed kill the Emperor? Will the tax stop? That would be awesome if these things happened. As it's currently discribed you elude us to think it so. I'm apprehensive to add this because it'll take away from the effect of the story environment if the Empire still bears its weigtht on the holds. Like to hear your thoughts on the matter, I love the idea of it though.

Thats all anyone neads is to wast more time Naff THE EMPIRE.
Altbert  [author] 30 Apr, 2015 @ 1:51pm
What you did, was entering the trigger twice and so the trigger was activated twice, ripping you of your money twice. You probably spawned at the edge of the trigger. Just turning around may have activated the trigger two times instead of just once.
Biggus Dickus 30 Apr, 2015 @ 1:30pm
Oh okay but also this messed up glitch happend to me so when I downloaded the mod I spawned where I last saved which was outside the riften gate and it took my money I understand why because it was like if i left or was gonna enter but it took it away from me twice even though I didnt do anything..
Altbert  [author] 30 Apr, 2015 @ 1:27pm
That's true! When walking through one of the gates without any gold in your inventory (or too little), you are thrown (teleported) into the wilderness, pretty near where you started the game, outside the cave of Helgen Keep. Somewhere around you may find a chest with gold (quite a lot of gold). The amount of gold is quite overdone, in four ingame months you can be a millionaire, septim-wise that is!
Biggus Dickus 30 Apr, 2015 @ 12:57pm
I was reading the desc theres a man giving money to people in the mod is that true or is that just to make the mod sound more real even though its not there
Altbert  [author] 30 Apr, 2015 @ 12:20pm
No paid mods!
SerDonkus 29 Apr, 2015 @ 7:24pm
what is the news?
Altbert  [author] 28 Apr, 2015 @ 2:21pm
We heard the news! I'm already working on an update of this mod!
Snek 28 Apr, 2015 @ 12:22pm
So none of you have heard the news, then?
Altbert  [author] 28 Apr, 2015 @ 8:45am
I just wanted to make a small satirical statement without being rude, threatening persons, or spreading that annoying BOB-thing! And, maybe a cheap shot, a little political wink.
ForgottenLore 28 Apr, 2015 @ 2:27am
As far as this criticizes paid mods (which no longer exist), I find it amusing. This is a cheap shot in terms of politics, though.
