This was a super fun mod. I liked it. But it was super, duper short, sadly. However, it was a good play and worth the time.

Extremely well made mod, other than the fact it was a bit wordy in comparison to the main story there's no way you'd be able to tell this was a fan made mod.

Story was great and definitely on point with the feeling, movement and twists of the main story. Also thought the younger Monika avatar was really well made.

Highly recommend playing this mod, just finish the main game campaign first.

It is an interesting short story about Monika’s background and the protagonist of Dragonfall.
I did enjoy the writing, and it makes up for a nice add-on to the main story. Good Job.

There was a strange bug however in the marketplace, when you decide to go meet Monika to the rendezvous point. The perspective switches to Monika being ambushed, but she was there with a clone of herself that was also fighting and moving on its own as a neutral unit…

So on short that is the only bug I have encountered. Hope it helps.

I gotta say, this is a very well written mod. It serves as a nice, albeit brief epilogue to your team and of the memory of Monika . Well done. Aside from a few grammatical errors and the bit on the highway where a certain someone walks around when you click I had no complaints. Good work!

So just to start off, I love this mod. Gives very good closure and is generally entertaining to play, I only have one gripe however.

A decent short mod, lets you potentially tie up some in-head feeling you have about monika (And potentially Blitz). I just said Monika was a friend and didn't fire Blitz in the end. He's my Novahot decker after all.

There is no bar scene, hence "perhaps also add in the bar scene" the main plot going on in meat space is going to the bar to celebrate the 1 year aniversary and memory of Monika and it never actually happens.

Perhaps also add in the bar scene instead of just cutting to black would be nice since you set up the expectation of it... Perhaps set up team dialogues in the bar that depend on whether he goes before or after the first run, id est less but more honest talk if he goes after since they're all drunk and tired and some "...You're late! *hic*" sort of intros to the latter scenario. And assuming you add the other two missions make it so if he jumps straight into the second one the team just appears in the base when he comes out, setting up the dialogue designed for that scene but also some "where were you last night?" intros that wont be there if he does go to the bar.

3/5 Pretty decent start. Needs more content. Perhaps it should go through all 3 of their previous missions together, between which the player could return to meatspace and little dialogues could go on with each member of the team.

Also I hate when stories diverge into multiple options then force me down one. I like being able to choose which thing to do. Namely (*spoiler warning*) at the begininning when the character could go to the bar or into the matrix.

A very atmospheric story, with an interesting combat situation and very cyberpunk scenario. Nice to really see more of Monica and APEX, Glory with a motorcycle was a good one, but you don't think much of Blitz and Diedrich do you? I know Blitz messes up a lot, but he comes through in the end.

Hoy, chummers! If you're wondering if this is a good mod for you, here's a spoiler-light review:

+ Great concept
+ Great prose
+ Great custom portrait
+ Had a bug with two Monikas at one point, when I was supposed to be helping her get out of a building, but otherwise no bugs

* Very short and linear
* Personal quibble: I get why you might suggest Dietrich develops in the way he does, but man, I did not sign up to have my heart played with like that, and then not have it go anywhere.

- I wish the modder had built on the concept more. My character, for example, had a raging lesbian ladyboner for Monika and that got vague closure, at best. And there's no option for "this is how I felt about her back then, but here's how I feel now".
- Blitz isn't gonna be everyone's fave; by all means keep in the option to fire him. But he seemed a little OOC in this. Let's just say what he did either needs to be justified better, or give the software some other way into your base.

I got Alicera's bug too. Also, I beat the 3 enimies surrounding Monika, within a few turns of the objective, then started to leave with her, but when I got 1 three-movement turn away, a sencond Monika and the enimies appered, and there were 2 on screen. Other then those, there were no bugs.

One Hint: Playing Rigger and encounterd a bug,
as i left the Building to get Monika out, my drones were stuck inside behind a wall in the dark.

Short yet really good piece of story tidbit. Putting aside that SRR's UI obviously wasn't built for this amount of text at the same time it really does feel like short but legit game content that was cut out of the game or something.

@im 42 I'll just say that Daft Punk *may* have had something to do with it. :)

@all.3n21 The module simply doesn't work with riggers. I have no idea why, and it's been so long since I've worked on it I wouldn't know where to look. I don't even have the original files anymore, so even if I wanted to change something I couldn't. I do apologize, and I hope you understand.

Bug: After following Heiko and getting our decker fried, I try to flip back to Monica but instead it reappears over my character and I'm unable to do anything. I've tried every option except the Biotech one, but I just reappear in the starting room. I also have the rigger bug because im a decker/rigger, if that matters at all.

Ah, I misunderstood jase; that's actually not a bug. If you've completed the run and are presented the option of bar or walk, the credits are supposed to roll. Like I said, short module. :D ERMERGERD CAN'T WAIT FOR HONG KONG

I found a bug. During the transition to the street in the Nirgendwo run my drones are stuck in the starting room, which makes my rigger almost usless

I found a bug. I imported my character and went to the safehouse. All of the team members I killed a year ago are now alive and greeting me like I am their best friend.

@Kinzuko The bug should be resolved now. The most recent update seemed to screw up variable recognition (at least, for this UGC), so after fiddling with the triggers it seems to be working properly now. I was looking in the wrong place the entire time.

It seems this issue arises when playing a shaman, rigger, or mage. I haven't had much success figuring out the problem, and for that I apologize. I'll dig into it some more.
