I resumed my aborted game and widened my search for the straggling unit. I found him on the hilltop by the chapel with a 7th unit. After taking them out, the script which declares the dead and alive count, fails to occur. But with nothing left to kill, I head away from the town and get the hints to turn back and that I am doomed, followed by the bad ending cutscene. You do need to correct that unit count, and fix that reporting script.

I didn't mind the pistol as it is. I did mind the lack of intel up front via a sitrep or brief(my eyes were too focused on the environment to catch the hints, telling me to kill the hostage and then to kill the patrol). I only counted 6 active pursuers in addition to the hostage. I killed 5 of the pursuers and sought the 6th guy out but couldn't locate him. 2 of the guys would enter the harbor water from time to time, for a swim. This made them vulnerable. I didn't shoot them while they floated out there since I wanted to search their gear for more stuff but it sure took them a while to wade back to the shore. The most recent journal entry(What's happening) was out of order. I didn't care for the cutscene once play had began. I know why it was there but perhaps shorten it quite a bit. In your counting script, move the enemy toward the starting house when the number remaining are == 1.

Good mission, really enjoyed it.

My suggestion would be to change the pistol to the revolver.

Thank you for the reply! I must apologize, I was quite harsh about what was only a small mishap. It only happened that one time so it must have just been a bug. Replayed it and there were six soldiers for sure. I honestly was just frustrated with that 7th soldier randomly getting me and i took it out on here a bit. I changed to an upvote cause it really is a good scenario. Great work!

There was a 7th soldier? That must be something I overlooked. Though I must say that every soldier has is no more skilled than 50%. I playtested this mission 2 days straight and I was able to complete it trained without many complications. Sorry for any bad experience, I will check things again and will update things accordingly. Again sorry for any inconvenience

The map is difficult, which is good. Although, if you're going to sate that there are 6 soldiers to kill, please make sure it is 6. Playing cat and mouse with a 7th, and ultimately getting aimbot headshotted by him was a big frustration. Especially after putting multiple shots in him without a kill. I had to downvote because of that, I'm sorry.
