can you upload the blueprint itself?
ratheden 2 May, 2018 @ 9:06pm
Morphologis, could we get a link to your friends packrat and a quick update to the station for the newbs?
jay.jahn 23 Jan, 2017 @ 2:26pm
Upload still broken and a mod is missing.
Morphologis  [author] 19 Apr, 2016 @ 7:17pm
The game updates have repeatedly broke every single upload I have ever made, so some of these such as the map featured here may no longer be set correctly. Very frustrating indeed.

@Morphologis, I'm looking at the timer block actions in this map, and they are not what was in the video at all. Why the change?
JimboJames4 10 Jan, 2016 @ 12:46pm
MORPHOLOGIS IS AWESOME:steamhappy:

Sadly, vulnerable to unintended interaction between timer sequences as a result of activation of both buttons at the same time; this could happen if a user trying to enter/exit activates the button after another play has already triggered an operation: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=476502706
Maybe consider switching off the other button panel to prevent this?

[Also, the airlock wastes time by going through the whole cycle even if it is a no-op]

I would love to add what you built to my world so my friends can see and play with it. how can i do that?
retrograde_orbit 11 May, 2015 @ 1:55pm
What mod is the really cool transparent HUD?
Suicide_Jack 19 Apr, 2015 @ 2:51pm
@Crafter:
yes, as long as they have defined actions like close and open.
this works even with airtight hangardoors.

@Morphologis:
thanks for the concept. nice piece of work with those diagrams.

Can you use diferent types of doors to? Like modded ones.
Paehrin 14 Apr, 2015 @ 8:39pm
This reminds me a lot of an automated airlock concept I uploaded a while ago, when they added timers and sensors. Worked pretty much the same, although it was autmoated thanks to sensors (but it was pretty buggy back then)... It makes a lot more sense now that we have oxygen ; I might try to update it. Good work anyway ! =)

@Morphologis I ended up downloading the world, making a blue print of it and putting it in my world and got it to work. Love what you did man keep it up.
Morphologis  [author] 14 Apr, 2015 @ 5:56pm
@ic3Man I never explained the depressurization part, since it is identicle to the Pressurization setup outlined in the video but in reverse. To assist in your understanding, I suggest you take a close look at both the diagram I put together here on the workshop page, as well as the timerblocks themselves as I've set them in the downloadable world. I hope this helps!
TomKatt 14 Apr, 2015 @ 4:41pm
This is Awesome but please please please type it out because you talk a little too fast and it is hard to follow you. Also when setting up the depressurize part please explain that because I got lost multiple times trying to that. Thanks

Thank you very much! VERY useful in attempting to add airlocks to the station overhaul project I'm working on.
DarkReacher 12 Apr, 2015 @ 12:46pm
Very nice Tutorial! Your the Best Tutorial maker ever!

Nice work thx fo the tut
Another question, which mod do you use for the HUD to be "transparent"
Zefnoly 10 Apr, 2015 @ 9:01am
Wow! That's just the airlock method i made yesterday! But you have better warning systems... But i used 4 timers like you with the same order. Works good!
Vorgra 8 Apr, 2015 @ 8:23pm
@dennis.danilov How is that boasting? your example is inferior.
Grumphy_Bear 8 Apr, 2015 @ 4:32am
I like this thanks. how ever 1 change id like to do... switch the doors. lock the one first then open the other. just a thought
SievertChaser 7 Apr, 2015 @ 12:55pm
Strictly speaking , you can do that in three timers. You can use the same timer sequence for both in and out using the alternating commands (on/off). But I decided to stay with a forked sequence for reliability's sake:

really cool, Morphologis you never fail to impress!
jarhead 5 Apr, 2015 @ 8:40pm
you can have the block only turn the block on or off instead of toggle (if you wanted to make the system fool proof incase someone started messing with the doors).
Vaporicer 5 Apr, 2015 @ 6:41pm
Awesome
