AKM handguard has sailence like in the picture above.

This applies to gun without romanian grip though as the Romanian grip has no sailence.

he wood color may vary between factories and year ,ak's come in a lot of colors , models and materials , this one in particular is painted with a nogal oil. Kalashnikovs are something like an open source software . http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/ab/AK_1_and_2_model.jpg

Is possible to change the handguard to be correct? It should look like AK-74 handguard.

ok , but militant AK has a different wood color(and the metal is ... uh green) , this is supposed to be a dark Nogal color. But yeah stay tuned i will do it

Can you make one with same wooden texture as the militant AKM? The lighter metal on the weapon doesn't seem to really fit with the dark wood on the weapon.

not as a costume grip , but it fit perfectly with the color (default one a little bit darker)
