It's a world (game save). It's difficult to make a blue print with all the pieces together without the wheels exploding. See description for link to finished version.

The welders are a complete lagfest for me ._. (Most likely my 3 year old GT640 causing lag), otherwise i would appreciate a way to make it not lag as much.

What's the maximum ship dimensions that can be handled by the gantry? And how hard would it be to extend it (if it's not big enough?)

I summarized what to do about that problem in the description. You have to make scaffolding that connects to the rear of the suspension block in the projection. Don't build any of the frame around the wheels until you have built the wheels. If any block is connected to the side of the suspensions block the wheels will fail to be placed.

spent a bit of time last night creating the gantry on a survival server and got all the tires on both sides of the gantry set up. Logged back on to see most most of the tires on either side of the gantry missing. Server is whitelist only so I highly doubt it was because of sabotage.

You'll have to adjust the projection based on the blueprint you load. The projector is setup for the blueship I loaded into it.

hey! you could fit this into a MASSIVE battle ship called the USS cannibal, and make a dock bay that extends arms around an enemy ship, then devour the ship via grinders, and use the materials you get to use this 3-d printer to make more drones!

update to addicted noob you would have to set the middle moving gantry up manually as it is a two peice machine :)
