sort of... i have all the issues identified, but i'm waiting on a class list from the developer of the mod...

to be perfectly honest, it's probably going to happen on the next update. :( it WILL come back though.

in the mean time, i have a few more missions i'm thinking about putting together

currently not updated for the most recent release of OPTRE. they changed their whole class naming scheme, and as a result nothing in this works, as it references wrong info.

i'll update ASAP, but for now, doesn't work :(

I'm getting a content failure. "Failed to download deleted content." All I'm running is OPTRE and CBA. I believe I'll throw in TEI as well just to be sure.

It's not my mods. Sorry for months late response. I'm apparently missing a "CBA_xeh" file. Extended event handlers. I disabled everything except Halo and CBA and it still didn't work. I've also had problems with other mods.

hmmm... the only mods I have tested with are the Halo Mod and the CBA that thte Halo mod requires. I try to keep stuff as 'vanilla' as possible to avoid compatability issues that can crop up.

what mods are you using?

I don't know why, but this mission gets about 80% done with loading and it crashes Arma. I think I'm going to have to try to launch this mission with only the Halo mod, but I'm open to suggestions.

Recent update improves on polish. Added music, refined condition triggers, added an intro, drop sequence now begins inside of hangar instead of already falling. Fixed some weird AI pathing.

If you can share a screenshot of what you mean by them showing up red, I'm curious. I'm not sure what you are talking about and that makes it hard to diagnose(if I ever can diagnose it, lol. I've only just started learning)

Try using the squad commands under '~' then scroll through and tell them to regroup after.

they don't have any movement commands pre-programmed, so they default to what you tell them to do.

Are you trying to move them on the map? or from first person?

@DuracellDurrell I had them disembark. But they started off on their own path up the hill and got themselves killed. They were all red in the squad control screen if that means anything.

I have quite a bit of experience in Arma, actually. I just never messed with any of the commands. Thanks for the help!

Through squad commands. you can access this by pressing the '~' key. it will being up a menu on the left side, scroll through your options with the scroll wheel and select your option with spacebar.

also found here are the 'Regroup'(follow) commands, 'move to' command, 'get in' command(if you want to try and steal the Innie pellican), etc.

Squad Commands are a pretty big part of Arma though, so if you are unfamilliar, it's worth going through the stock tutorials first.

Works now with update. The AI squad doesnt follow orders though.

For both of you playing and not able to initiate the script. When you start do you see "initiate drop sequence" in bold red in the middle of your screen right when you start?

If you don't, make sure you have version 0.12 of the actual halo mod, they released a hot fix that this requires in the last 12 hours. I just tested with the workshop version(rather than save game) and this seems to be working ok if the hotfix is installed.
