I have the reskin and the ecml route but the scenario won't work. I have also tried v1.3 but it still doesn't work.

Springer6, this scenario is very old. Way before the Azuma had its name and the livery they've shown. Only time will tell what they will look like :)

Are we sure what livery the VTEC 800/801s will carry when in service ? The "Azuma" livery displayed by Branson and Hitachi was quite different to this bluerail one .

My way

First, put files blue rail (open with7zip in New Folder 1 at desktop)) at asset dtg 308 ( example my pc):
E:\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\DTG\Class801Pack01:
Preload
Railvehicles
Class801Pack01Asset.ap
Second:
Open file Class801Pack01Asset.ap with 7zip in New Folder 2 at desktop and search
\Desktop\New Folder2\RailVehicles\Electric\Class801\Default\Engine
Copy 9 files *.* GeoPcDx (in engine) at New Folder 3 at desktop
Third:
Copy and paste the 9 files in:
E:\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\DTG\Class801Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric\Class801\Virgin\Engine
(folder Engine).
Clear cache.
Now play the simulator!

Have you tried opening it with WinRAR? I would expect it to work. If not, 7zip is a free program that you can download from www.7-zip.org

That's the problem, I have winrar not 7 zip and I don't know how to open a ap file.

You need to download the reskin, unzip it. Open up the readme document and that will tell you where you can find the .ap file. Open that .ap file in something like 7zip. Find all the folders listed in the reskin directory and copy all the geo files (can't remember the extention off the top of my head. It says in the readme document) and then drop the folder in where it says.

Sorry I can't give more detailed instructions as I currently don't have the resources to hand.
